[Well. That was certainly something.

Emotions are clearly high, so for once, Data steps out of his helper role and takes on the brunt of organizing the after-trial gathering. He's seen enough of them by now to know what's what. He's also seen more than enough in this particular trial to decide that the bar, while possibly being the most logical location, may be distressing to some! So instead, we're gonna do something different. Data will deliver invitations, that sort of look like a computer printed them, to each of the rooms:]

There are no decorations, but there are some snack selections from the buffet and the cafe, depending on what you want, and a tray or two of mixed drinks courtesy of Jimmy Buffett. Data and Parker are both here. If you're sad, you may pet Parker (probably). If you're too depressed to make your own fancy sundae, Data will do it for you (definitely).]

[Constantine is already in the bar, his face pressed against the countertop and an empty glass in hand. He almost seems asleep, by the looks of it, but he sits up as soon as Yeager enters. He blinks blearily, casting a look towards the margaritas and then up towards Yeager.]

Celebrating. [A snort. He spreads his arms out, gesturing to the entire bar. A crooked grin meets his face.] What d'ya think I've been doin' all this time, mate?

[He leans forward and snatches up the glass, raising it towards the ceiling.]

To Sylvando, then. And to kicking that bastard Captain Jack in the balls.

[That gets a laugh from him, and he raises his own glass in turn.]

I'll drink to that! I'm sure Sylvando would appreciate that much at least - that we've learned a bit more and have gotten a bit closer to the end of this.

[Hopefully. Hopefully.]

[Constantine smirks, downs the entire glass in less than four seconds, then slams the glass back on the counter. This is a man who should not be treating a margarita like a shot. Jimmy Buffett casts a concerned look in Constantine's direction.]

He's gettin' sloppy. It's--S'only a matter of time before we get face-to-face with that jackass--

[A pause. He starts snickering.]

S'an American thing or something. I can't make any sense of it. Every year on February 2nd, a bunch of geezers wearing top hats drag a groundhog out of its hole and pretend to speak with it and if it sees its shadow that means there's another month of winter or...or whatever. Fuck if I know.

[He makes a vague gesture with his hand.]
