SIXTH TRIAL

[ It's the same as the other weeks. Two bodies, some time to look, and then Davy Jones comes around to take those of you who are left into the theatre and into the elevator. His expression is dark, difficult to read.

The trip down feels slower than ever. The elevator has gotten so empty, don't you think?

As it reaches its usual destination, the crew of the Dutchman is performing once again. The clouds above have started to darken the once clear tropical waters.

The podiums await you. ]

At yer places! Find who is responsible for all of this!

[ Your numbers can't support many more weeks of this, can they?

Welcome to your sixth trial. ]

Perhaps the same knife?

The knife was left by Risotto's body. It would be odd for them to return to place it there, if they had killed Scott after his death.

[But it's not like we're dead (ha) sure on the timeline anyway, so...Data's gonna observe the knife in his possession closer. Are there any signs of damage? The arcade machines are metal, so it seems likely they'd at least nick a knife or something.]

That's what I'm guessing. That would imply that the person with the knife was chasing after either Scott or Risotto intentionally.

[A pause.]

Could it be that the culprit first offed Risotto, tried to dispose of the body via the roller coaster, and then Scott stumbled upon him? Then the culprit chased after him, perhaps....

Tried to dispose of his body how? There's a roller coaster on top of him.

He was alive, anyway, wasn't he?

The roller coaster was still on when we discovered it. They may have been interrupted in whatever they were attempting to do.

[Like, you'd think they'd at least turn it off when they were finished...though maybe that's just Data being meticulous.]

It was broken too. I don't think that roller coaster car was going anywhere.
