[When the remainder of the passengers returns to the ship, Flayn steals away to read what Constantine gave her upon their parting. She reads it, and cannot find it in her heart to burn it.

Well. With the rest of the letters from the dead it goes. They'll all be on her person, now, which is the safest place she can think to keep such precious words.

Quietly, privately, Flayn comes to Lelouch to ask for his assistance, and soon enough pieces of paper with Flayn's lovely handwriting find themselves slipped under your door.

Please come to the Pub on the seventh floor this evening, so we may not spend this dark night alone.

Between Lelouch actually knowing how to cook, and Flayn being a doggedly determined young lady, the pub is much more hospitable when you arrive. There are homemade snacks as well as...McDonald's milkshakes and apple pies? And all manner of sweets brought over from the various floors of the ship, as if in Jasper's honor. Lengths of relatively subdued fabric have been cut from bolts in the crafts room and laid out over the tables and bar, and there are even some various liquors put out if you feel like getting absolutely wasted. We're all kind of fucking sad at the moment, it's fine. It's fine. Just eat before you imbibe, please.]

[Hearing Constantine's name makes Filbo hesitate for a moment. Jasper's letter to Filbo explained things -- and to be frank, Filbo is glad Jasper was willingly part of the plan...at least there was that mercy on him -- but that doesn't remove right away the heavy feeling of betrayal that had invaded Filbo for a few minutes there. He has to trust Constantine, he should...so he nods while he slides the letter meant for Data across the pub booth]

I guess I should have known he'd leave a letter too. Thanks for bringing it here, Data. Also I'm...I'm sorry for your loss.

[The loss of a roommate, even if it's for what may be a move against the current situation, still is quite the thing to go through. It's been two months being with that person in your vicinity, after all]

There's a letter for someone in Erdrea, a man named Hendrik. It's a really thick letter, so I guess it's important! He asked in his message for me to go go deliver it to Erdrea if...well, you know, if death turned out to be permanent and there was a way to go to Erdrea somehow.

[Filbo definitely is willing to do so, how could he say no?]

The problem is that, uh...apparently I may be considered a monster? Monsters and humans are kinda on strange terms, and looks like he's concerned there'd be suspicion on me if I went alone. He suggested asking you or Flayn if you had the time, but, uh, Flayn already has things to do if death is permanent, so...

[Yup, Flayn already has to go fulfill Lalli's requests. Still, Filbo definitely is floating the request instead of outright asking Data to accompany him, giving Data the option to refuse.]

Yes, he suggested that I assist either you or Flayn in that effort. I would be happy to accompany you - I will most likely be put on leave from my duties following this event regardless.

I did want to visit Erdrea someday. They have this giant tree floating in the sky, Yggdrasil! Sylvando made it sound like such an awesome thing I have just wanted to see how that's like.

[The circumstances for visiting Erdrea won't be anything to be happy about if it's to deliver a message to Hendrik, but hey, that doesn't change that Erdrea sounds like an interesting place]

I'd say all of you are welcome to mine but...I admit I'm not sure how that'd go? I mean, I think it's pretty obvious nobody would go unnoticed. Unless, I dunno, whoever's visiting wears all the time a football mascot suit, and that's gonna get awful very quickly.

It is a difficult situation. Your presence would likely make things easier to some degree, but it has always been Starfleet policy to avoid introducing ourselves to new societies in such a manner.

At least I know most of my friends would be okay with so many of you all, especially if I'm there. I mean, of course they'd be so confused at first? But overall I really do believe if they came to meet any of you it'd really go well.

[Not that Filbo would risk anything by bringing anyone solely to introduce them to anybody in particular, but really, they all really range from decent to great people at heart despite their flaws and vices -- and know how to keep a secret, too, boy have they all proven it by staying quiet about Bugsnax for this long already. If anything happened, they really would be some of the first ones Filbo would think of if he had to introduce these otherwordly people to anyone]

That is good to hear. It is nice when people are able to keep an open mind about those different from them.

She is our ship's counselor - like a psychiatrist or psychologist.

She is an exceptionally kind and empathetic person. Somewhat literally - she is half-Betazoid, a species with highly developed empathic abilities.

[There probably are! Not that Filbo has seen one, hah. Once things are over he should for obvious reasons but boy would it be hard to when you have to explain all this]

She sounds exactly like the kinda person that'd do all of us some good to know. I mean...not only because she's a counselor, also because somebody so empathetic would be great to talk with.

She would be very helpful in dealing with everyone here. She likely could have detected lies or guilt in the trial room as well.
