Week 1
Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.
There may not be much light to differentiate the days here, but the lights of the part of the city you're in change enough by the clock that you can almost believe there's a sun somewhere. It looks like Mayor Fontaine has no intention of going back on his deal, and for the time being? You're all stuck here. But there's plenty to do, and... maybe not plenty to see, but there's enough. There's something, at any rate.
Especially if you're willing to look beyond the surface.
And if you spend enough time around others, you might find something neat!
No matter what, it's time to start getting to know your fellow captives. You might be here a while.

Wow, you're really hungry, huh? Looks like you're about to order the whole menu and then some.
[ He snickers before straight up taking the card from Adaman and tossing it into the trash, then giving him a new one. ]
You pick something and fill it out on the card, and then it goes into the punch machine, and then the food pops outta that tube [ points ] over there. Easy peasy~!

Oh, absolutely not! [...] Though, to be honest, I haven't heard of even half of the things that this menu seems to tout...
[Still, Adaman listens rather intently as Floyd seems to explain it to him, and it makes sense to him! ...He honestly doesn't even realize how badly he managed to flub this up, but this makes a lot more sense.]
Easy peasy indeed. Huh! I suppose the matter is now trying to pick something that may actually be good... [Hm.] Tell me; have you ordered from this before? I am wondering if you might have a suggestion.

[ He mulls it over a little bit, looking at the menu. ]
D'you like seafood at all? That's what I go with mostly, but I do like some of the pasta too!

[Hmm. Adaman looks over the menu again and considers. Mushroom Risotto, Octopus Carpaccio, Lobster, all sorts of things...he'll pick that second one, at least, and follow the instructions given.
...He totally jolts when the food comes back to them, but uh. Holy shit.]

[ Floyd laughs a bit when Adaman jolts at the arrival of the food- not that he wasn't the same when he first ordered here. It's just funny to see. ]

Never the less, though, Adaman peers at this dish curiously. It smells good? It looks pretty damn good too. Granted, Adaman is absolutely gonna just grab at this like some kind of heathen and basically scoop some up and take a bite and...

His name is Jade! He's my identical twin. He's pretty proper and stuff, and he's real smart! We practically know what the other is thinking with just a glance. Let's see... He likes terrariums... and also mushrooms! Maybe a little too much because he gets carried away and somehow manages to put them on the menu for two straight weeks.
[ He will never get over that... Floyd hates shiitake mushrooms now. ]
