Four ventilation tubes integrated into the ceiling. They're large enough for me to pass through. [Yup, can't let the ones inside to suffocate] However they don't seem to be connected to this meeting room -- most likely to ensure soundproofing. Noise from this side could reach the other if there were a ventilation duct connecting them.
