Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's now been a week since you were all captured. Perhaps you've already settled in. Perhaps you're already confident that you'll make it out of New Rapture alive. How serious about this could Mayor Fontaine possibly be, really?

While there still may not be much to do in your little hotel bubble, you've at least been granted a little more now - some kind of mysterious room and a sizeable library of all things. And in all the places you've looked so far, you've found valuable information, and even learned some of the story of New Rapture along the way.

Make sure to keep talking to the others! You want to keep those regain coins flowing, don't you?

[ If there is one person in the entire world that isn't creeped out by the presence of a walking eyeball, it's the Undertaker. ]

I see... No wonder you want to get to him...

[ He taps his chin and stares at the room... Hm... Breaking the glass doesn't seem to be working. Perhaps there is some other way inside?

He gets closer to the glass and presses his face against it... But alas, he can't make out enough detail. Too minute for his eyes.

So he backs off. ] Do you see any ventilation in that room?

Four ventilation tubes integrated into the ceiling. They're large enough for me to pass through. [Yup, can't let the ones inside to suffocate] However they don't seem to be connected to this meeting room -- most likely to ensure soundproofing. Noise from this side could reach the other if there were a ventilation duct connecting them.

[giddyundertaker]

[ Tch. ] Drat. I was going to tie a string around you and let you try going through there.

[ Operation Vent Rescue is dead in the water.

He's frowning at the glass and tapping on it. He would have had something that would surely do the trick, but guess who took it away from him before this whole thing started? Damn you Fontaine for making the Undertaker feel helpless! ]

... I don't understand it. Jonathan Harker was in there on Sunday, and we could speak to him just fine. Is something in there drowning us out?

I have dedicated myself to explore the ventilation ducts I have come across, but as expected, the Mayor has taken measures to stop me from sneaking into places I shouldn't be at. I also attempted to travel through the pneumo tubes in the restaurant and my room, with similar results.

[In the right hands Aiba could break so many scenarios open, haha]

I believe the Mayor or his assistant have a way to block everything. With the right technology, anything is possible!
