Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's a strange sort of feeling, waking up on Sunday. Not the least because, well... you fell asleep on Friday, didn't you? Whether you sleep or not, none of you remember Saturday. Everything, by all accounts, seems to be Sunday. Weird.

It's not all bizarre feelings of lost time that you have to show for your efforts, though - it seems that another wing of New Rapture is ready for you. Perhaps there's more information to be found about your situation there... and maybe more about the history of this place, if that interests you.

There are still 23 of you left... Keep getting to know them. There's regains to get, after all!

[ Today, Floyd is in an alright mood! And what better way to spend your alright mood than to check out a new locations!

His explorations take him to the Department Store, surprisingly enough! Namely, he's checking out shoes on the second floor! There's a bunch of them surrounding him in varying styles and colors, and he's trying them on! Well, the ones that fit him anyways.

Next, once he's got his shoes picked out, he's back in the first floor area of the department store, with a bunch of pillows, sheets, and some rope in his hands. Some pillows are normal, some are couch pillows! Looks like he's planning to make something. If you're in the area, you can also catch him dragging everything to the elevators! ]

Stinkin' cushions... heavy...

[ Once he's up in Suite 2, the door to his room is wide open as he shuffles things around, and you can see him constructing something- a pillow fort! And it's looking pretty cozy too. ]

[Obi peeeeeers in.]

Huh. Whatcha doing?

[ He pops up at the voice from one side of his fort, still in progress. ]

Pillow fort!

[kninja]

I know both those words separately, but I've never heard 'em put together like that.

[Still, he gets the gist, maybe?]

This what people who don't get heavy winters make instead of snow forts?

Hah- if ya find out, lemme know. I just saw some freshman doin' it one day back home and he said it's like "making a comfort zone more comfy," or somethin'. Apparently, people can get real elaborate with 'em.

[ He grabs a chair and uses it for a base, stacking some cushions on it. ]

I was gonna make a bigger one in like, the lobby or the restaurant maybe, but then it'd be too cozy and people would fall asleep! So I'm makin' a small one for my room for now.

Makes sense. Bet we could all use as much comfort as we can get around now.

[He crouches so he can see the inside.]

You know, I did something like this at the palace once with Master's group and My Lady. We put cushions on the floor and stayed up late drinking and watching the stars.

Oh nice, sounds like some sorta night time picnic.

[ Floyd scoots a little so Obi can see the inside. It looks really good, and absolutely cozy! A cool cave hideaway for an eel. ]

Stars are pretty- you don't see too much of 'em under the sea.

[ . . . you know when you see something going on and you should really stay in your lane but your curiosity just won't let you leave it alone? ]

... ah... Floyd?

[ Yeah. ]

What... exactly is all this for?

Oh, hi, Butterflyfish!

[ One side of the mass of blankets and cushions thunks to the floor as he waves. ]

I wanna make my room cozier, so I'm building a pillow fort.

[honeyedtea]

[ . . . oh, there's so much to question here. she can't get started or she'll be here all day. ]

I suppose that's one way to pass the time, but... what exactly is a "pillow fort" for?

Oh? You've never made one? You're missing out!

[ He grabs another pillow and adds it to the stack. ]

They're for being cozy! It's like a little room inside your regular room, but made of pillows and blankets. People make huge ones sometimes for like cool movie nights or sleepovers.

Oh, now I see...

[ It's absolutely not the sort of thing she ever would have been allowed to do, even as a child... but she can't pretend she doesn't understand the appeal. ]

So you use it to... extend your bed? Or your bedroom furniture?

[capreelcious]

Sorta, yeah! You can extend it longways, or make it tall so you can add small lights and stuff too! The possibilities are endless with pillow forts~!

[ Besides, if this place gets refilled like food, they'll never run out of pillow fort material! ]

[ Huh, those sure are cushions set up in that room there. Odd. Must investigate. ]

What've you got there, boy?

Hey, Barracuda! Makin' a pillow fort!

[ Floyd pops out from his little cave of sorts and waves! ]

Can you toss that pillow next to you over?

[giddyundertaker]

So you are! [ Not too familiar with that concept but it seems fun.

The Undertaker takes a moment to locate the pillow before he tosses it.

At Floyd's face. ]

Catch!

[capreelcious]

[ He absolutely catches it with his face! His laugh is muffled. ]

Thanks!

[ He finally takes the pillow off his face and gets to work putting it in the fort. ]

You ever make a pillow fort before?

[giddyundertaker]

[ Good sport, good sport. ]

Naw, I'm too old and busy for that sort of thing...

[ But he has all the time in the world now, so he's gonna get closer to the fort and sit down. ]

Who says? You gotta treat yourself from time to time!

[ Floyd scoots so the Undertaker can get a little closer! It's pretty much almost done! And it's very cozy. ]

[It's hard to miss the noise coming from Floyd's room, so Hagakure leans in to see what's going on.]

Yooo, nice pillow fort, Floydo! You gonna have any hangouts in there when it's done?

Thanks, Sea Urchin~! I'm thinkin' about it! Maybe if we can convince Water Fountain guy to be a little lenient on the rules, I'll make a bigger pillow fort in the main suite area for everyone.

Oh, dude, that would be so sick. We could order some fancy pizza from the restaurant and tell ghost stories and stuff! Too bad there's no movies to do a marathon with, though.

Hehe, fair enough. Still, we're a big bunch- I'm sure we got enough stories and then some to talk about without a marathon.

Totally! We're all from totally different places, too. I bet the stories get real wild.

[He already has the perfect one in mind...]

Oh, for sure! A buncha crazy stuff happens at my school like you wouldn't believe.

[ An all boys school full of magic users? Yeah, things get wild there. ]
