Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's a strange sort of feeling, waking up on Sunday. Not the least because, well... you fell asleep on Friday, didn't you? Whether you sleep or not, none of you remember Saturday. Everything, by all accounts, seems to be Sunday. Weird.

It's not all bizarre feelings of lost time that you have to show for your efforts, though - it seems that another wing of New Rapture is ready for you. Perhaps there's more information to be found about your situation there... and maybe more about the history of this place, if that interests you.

There are still 23 of you left... Keep getting to know them. There's regains to get, after all!

[He blinks in surprise, gently taking the patch like it was a fragile treasure. He had fully expected an in person conversation about his behavior last week]

Forrest, this is beautiful. Did you make this yourself?

I did. Sewing and embroidery are talents of mine; I learned when I was younger, and just never really put it down.

[He sounds pleased with the compliment, though.]

I really am sorry about what happened at the trial; we really do need to not be tearing one another down, and I don't like fighting with other people besides. Would you find it amenable to make peace?

[He looks at Forrest, then at the badge, then back at him.

And pulls Forrest into a hug. It only lasts for a couple of seconds but he has to get that out there.]

You are absolutely right. Fontaine's plan is to tear each other apart, and we have to stand by each other. I am truly sorry for the way I have acted and I promise I will wear this with honor.

[Oh goodness HELLO - he does not seem to mind the hug, though it does surprise him a little; he will return it, however, for the brief moment that Jonathan allows him to.]

Thank you for the letters the other night - I really appreciated them, and I'm truly sorry for shouting at you and not being willing to listen myself. It's... Well, we can call it a work in progress for now, shall we?

[...That said, his gaze flicks over to that...outfit that Jonathan was looking at.]

...Speaking...of works in progress. That's rather an interesting ensemble.

It was the least I could do. Like I said in the note, I do not want let anything left unsaid, even if we are to escape from this prison with no more casualties. And I... I want to be stronger, for those younger than I. I owe everyone that much.

[He frowns and turns back at the outfit.]

It's certainly ghoulish, isn't it? I cannot imagine anyone wanting to wear this on any occasion unless it was to purposefully scare others.

It's positively hideous, though I'm somewhat curious as to what it would look like on a person...
