Week 3
Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.
It's a strange sort of feeling, waking up on Sunday. Not the least because, well... you fell asleep on Friday, didn't you? Whether you sleep or not, none of you remember Saturday. Everything, by all accounts, seems to be Sunday. Weird.
It's not all bizarre feelings of lost time that you have to show for your efforts, though - it seems that another wing of New Rapture is ready for you. Perhaps there's more information to be found about your situation there... and maybe more about the history of this place, if that interests you.
There are still 23 of you left... Keep getting to know them. There's regains to get, after all!

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

It looks like it could be.
I'm sure she will be happy to...receive it.
[ He sounds actually like he's not sure of that because it is kind of weird, but you know what? It's fine. ]
no subject
I really don’t think she will be.
[It’s weird. It’s so weird. It’s creepy and bad and weird. Gingerly, Obi approaches the hair again and picks it up as though it might bite him.]
Should I… throw it out, y’think?
no subject
It may be your best option.
Unless, it is something she's expecting for whatever reason.
[ Which he doubts, but the possibility is not a zero here, he supposes. Given the personalities here, anyway. ]
no subject
I guess she could be.
[Welp. He puts the sheaf of real human hair on a lobby table, carefully coiling it to save space, and shakes his hands out to free himself of the heebie-jeebies. This is some bad magic shit, y’all.
At this point, he notices Vholran’s taken the Water Master Core and brightens.]
Aha, was that your shiny thing?
no subject
Yes, it is.
I wish I could say I was surprised it was apparently in this place, but I am not. That man seems to be making a game out of item retrieval...important or no.
[ Vholran is only even more disappointed to find that it doesn't exactly respond the way it should. But he will put it away nonetheless. ]
no subject
[There's, y'know. The murders. Obi shakes his head.]
But if that ball of yours was important, I'm glad you've got it back.
no subject
Same when he calls it a 'ball'. Which, well, isn't exactly inaccurate, but... ]
It is a Master Core of a particular element. A symbol and conduit of power, where I'm from.
[ So indeed important. ]
As you can imagine, it's useless as it is.
no subject
[At least he's bouncing back quickly from the hair scare.]
no subject
[ Vholran can't quite imagine worlds where there isn't much 'magic'. Especially for someone like him, who is capable of such things. ]
Your world must not be similar in that regard.
no subject
[Not only is there not much, there's not any.]
no subject
[ In his opinion, anyway. ]
no subject
no subject
[ To make oneself a force to be reckoned with in and outside of battle. ]
...Or healing magic, for those inclined.
[ To put it in very simple terms. The way magic is available to the populace is rather complex in of itself. ]
But, I would not find myself flying around a broom for whatever reason.
no subject
Is your objection to the flying part or to the broom?
no subject
[ He is far too high class for that. ]
no subject
no subject
[ ...and uncomfortable, but he has too much pride to admit that he'd be unable to handle something. ]
no subject
[It would look funny, especially in that getup of Vholran's.]
