Week 3
Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.
It's a strange sort of feeling, waking up on Sunday. Not the least because, well... you fell asleep on Friday, didn't you? Whether you sleep or not, none of you remember Saturday. Everything, by all accounts, seems to be Sunday. Weird.
It's not all bizarre feelings of lost time that you have to show for your efforts, though - it seems that another wing of New Rapture is ready for you. Perhaps there's more information to be found about your situation there... and maybe more about the history of this place, if that interests you.
There are still 23 of you left... Keep getting to know them. There's regains to get, after all!

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[ ooc: Welcome to the second week of Unknown Seas Round 3! Please make sure to mark any investigation toplevels accordingly, post your ac, and you can reach either Mayor Fontaine or Eleanor for conversations! ]

[ But even as she says it, she's gradually shaking her head. ]
No... there are plenty of ways for him to do that that don't involve playing around with the days of the week. But surely we can't have just missed a day.
no subject
[What does he care if it's Saturday or Sunday? The days are meaningless around here, and he can tell he didn't actually miss one.
You know. Probably.]
I would think we could tell, if we had. We'd have had to be drugged or something like that, but I feel totally normal.

[ She'd sounded puzzled before, but now she's starting to sound troubled. ]
Could something have happened...? On Saturday, I mean?
no subject
[What that would be, Brett isn't quite sure. But that'd be the point, huh?]
no subject
[ She thinks on that for a moment - then perks up as if with an idea. ]
Then is it possible... we skipped Saturday? Rather than forgetting it – we went directly from Friday to Sunday?
no subject
[He still doesn't quite know why, but...that's certainly an interesting theory.]
Like, he wanted us to...hurry up and get to the next week, or something?
no subject
[ Oh, now she feels like she's on some sort of a roll. ]
Could it be that something occurs in the city on Saturdays that's... inconvenient to him, somehow? Or it would allow for our escape? After all, many of the city's functions are automated – such as the restaurant? Could it be there's something about the city that functions outside of his control?
no subject
[Oh, Brett likes that!]
Say they were going to have a...break day, or something like that, where the employees and everyone could go up to the surface and see people there. Saturday makes sense.
no subject
[ not that they have any way of confirming that, but... ]
So perhaps we need to ensure one of us stays awake into Saturday this week.

[lol, the most disruptive roommates]
Maybe we could all try to sit up together.

[It seems like it shouldn't count under that rule, if the Mayor does something to knock them out, but no reason to chance it.]

[ small. those fancy suites are small to her. we gotta do something about rich people, y'all ]

It's only one night, and we won't even be sleeping. We can manage.
