Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's a strange sort of feeling, waking up on Sunday. Not the least because, well... you fell asleep on Friday, didn't you? Whether you sleep or not, none of you remember Saturday. Everything, by all accounts, seems to be Sunday. Weird.

It's not all bizarre feelings of lost time that you have to show for your efforts, though - it seems that another wing of New Rapture is ready for you. Perhaps there's more information to be found about your situation there... and maybe more about the history of this place, if that interests you.

There are still 23 of you left... Keep getting to know them. There's regains to get, after all!

Uh-huh.

[It's peculiar, observing someone so oddly neutral, but not complacent. Dandy thinks that QT might like this guy, as the two of them would have all sorts of commonalities to discuss, like never having fucked! And, um, data, efficiency, and all that good stuff.

He stops, the overbearing weight of Dandy's godawful gelled monstrosity so great that he tilts his head to one side-]

Say, since you value kooky opinions and all, I think I might throw a curveball your way.

I hope that's alright.

[He says.

He needs to get this off his chest- It's been bothering him since last week.]

[Huh. The fact that Dandy's asking is either a good thing or a really, really bad thing. He should probably prepare for the worst.]

It is, yes. What's on your mind?

[bootyhunter]

...What do you think happened to the people in that box?

[It's over. Two people are dead.

He needs to move on.

Perhaps this conversation will help.]

Do you think they were real?

[Oh, this isn't quite the sort of bad he was expecting, but in a way this is far easier to deal with. Rossiu pauses for a moment as he considers.]

I don't know for sure that they were real. They had reactions that seemed very real, and no one reported any of them acting oddly.

...But whether they were real or not, I think we can believe that for the time being, they're fine. I don't trust the Mayor at all, but from a practical standpoint... well, it wouldn't make much sense to hurt them, would it?

[This is something he's put a lot of thought into as well, and something he's going to be asking the Mayor about soon too so check the meeting for a full report on that!!]

No.

[A beat passes.]

But this guy isn't what I'd call practical.

[this is weirdly dramatic even 4 me to type the prose 4 so... um, have a dramatic anime protag srs yell-]

He's a psychotic bastard!

[Considering all of his castmates are dramatic anime protags, this doesn't even slightly bother him. The sudden shift is about what he was expecting, really!!]

You're right, he is. We'll have to try to be prepared for anything; I can't imagine he would leave us alone after how effective his threat was the first time.

[bootyhunter]

Yeah, and a crapton of people have already snapped! Or they're just about to. Whatever edge they're on, it's the opposite of glory.

[He sighs, exasperated.]

Not that I blame 'em.

How's a kid supposed to make grown-ass decisions without his mama, anyways?!

[Dandy is referring to Hodaka, however.

He sounded like he was dealin' with way too much, for just a little guy. Shoot, for anybody! Poor baby.

It truly is unfair that he has brought children into this.

[Though sometimes kids have to make really damn tough decisions and sometimes they end up in horrid situations. He can't fault either Adaman or Hodaka for their decisions or their actions that night, because it shouldn't have happened in the first place. They were pushed to the breaking point immediately - so what else were they supposed to do but break?]

I wish there was something else we could have done.

Me too.

[Dandy folds his arms across his chest.]

I know I'm not, uuuh, some big-time hero guy?

But I've definitely never felt more like a dud on any other day of my life.
