Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's a strange sort of feeling, waking up on Sunday. Not the least because, well... you fell asleep on Friday, didn't you? Whether you sleep or not, none of you remember Saturday. Everything, by all accounts, seems to be Sunday. Weird.

It's not all bizarre feelings of lost time that you have to show for your efforts, though - it seems that another wing of New Rapture is ready for you. Perhaps there's more information to be found about your situation there... and maybe more about the history of this place, if that interests you.

There are still 23 of you left... Keep getting to know them. There's regains to get, after all!

This way, you won't have to send your clothes for washing every day.

That is a big help. It feels a little silly wearing my uniform all the time, too.

[she says that like she hasn't turned new rapture into her own private school]

Oh, is that a uniform? I didn't realize.

[He thinks about it, then frowns.]

You have to have a uniform as a student?

[sastruga]

Yes, it's my school uniform. It's standard back home for schools to require uniforms.

It's basically the same as my middle school one, so I haven't really had to think about what I wear every day for a while now.

[kninja]

Huh. I only had to start wearing uniforms when Master knighted me, and only sometimes. Though I guess My Lady has one, too, as a court herbalist.

[A pause, and he backtracks.]

You prefer not having to think about it?

[sastruga]

Ah...

[...]

Hah, well, I'm not very good with fashion and such, so wearing the uniform is easier, I suppose?

[kninja]

Guess that makes sense.

[Does it? He's not sure. Not all women are as into fashion and accessories as his friend Yuzuri, for example. But at Mafuyu's age, for her to be so... over the chance for self-expression? For what seems to have been a long time? Feels slightly odd. Obi can't put his finger on why, though.]

As long as it's comfy, right?
