Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's a strange sort of feeling, waking up on Sunday. Not the least because, well... you fell asleep on Friday, didn't you? Whether you sleep or not, none of you remember Saturday. Everything, by all accounts, seems to be Sunday. Weird.

It's not all bizarre feelings of lost time that you have to show for your efforts, though - it seems that another wing of New Rapture is ready for you. Perhaps there's more information to be found about your situation there... and maybe more about the history of this place, if that interests you.

There are still 23 of you left... Keep getting to know them. There's regains to get, after all!

What, that the young should have fewer regrets? Maybe, but I have a feeling they're here with us for a reason. Li'l Daka and Adaman lived lives that left 'em with a lot to carry, too.

[dullshooter]

Something like that. Guess they have less in the way of worldly wisdom. [He laughs. He wouldn’t consider himself wise.] Guess we can leave the pep-talks to Zinda. Seems like she’s got that covered.

[And, like, Misfire would be down the bottom for alternate options.]

You think there was much reason for choosing us in the first place?

[kninja]

I know he said it was mostly random, but doesn't it seem like there must've been some kind of... guidelines?

[Parameters.]

None of us are very young, and even those who're older are either magic or a Cypertrodian or somehow otherwise in their prime. We're all capable of certain things, in other words. [Work. Or murder.] There are twice as many guys as women, too. And if there are as many non-human people out there as you and Miss Joy and Dandy-sir make it seem, then isn't it weird that so many of us are just human?

[dullshooter]

It has been bugging me. I mean, a vampire basically doesn't count, and jury's out on Floyd, but then that just leaves what, two point five of us who aren't remotely human? I know you guys like to think you're the center of the universe, but that's not proportional representation...seems like a random selection from a human mindset.

[kninja]

So, yeah. I do think we were chosen to some degree. If there's something we all have in common, that might help us pin down what he's really after with all this.

Honestly? No. Don't think we've given 'em good reason to.

I’d ask if you’ve met some of the people here, but…

On another thought, our average total incompetence would be pretty entertaining. Which, now I think about it, might be a driving factor behind all this. I mean, I’d watch it.

Would you? I dunno, I think I'd get pretty bored.

Really? Even with me as a member of the cast?

I think you're way more fun to talk to than to stand around and watch, buddy.

But just think of all the wacky interactions you're missing out on due to a lack of omniscience.
