Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's a strange sort of feeling, waking up on Sunday. Not the least because, well... you fell asleep on Friday, didn't you? Whether you sleep or not, none of you remember Saturday. Everything, by all accounts, seems to be Sunday. Weird.

It's not all bizarre feelings of lost time that you have to show for your efforts, though - it seems that another wing of New Rapture is ready for you. Perhaps there's more information to be found about your situation there... and maybe more about the history of this place, if that interests you.

There are still 23 of you left... Keep getting to know them. There's regains to get, after all!

I wonder what he'd do if none of us act on this... I imagine he would be furious.

Yes, exactly. For whatever reason, he really wants this to go according to plan.

[Which is great and all, but that doesn't really help them much. As long as he can offer things people are willing to kill for...]

Indeed. If we knew more about what his plan entailed, perhaps we could find more of a concrete way to counteract it... but even with the actual stakes confirmed, it is difficult to imagine things going particularly well.

Yes. While the Mayor was surprisingly forthright when I spoke with him, I doubt he would be willing to offer any answers that would truly allow us an advantage. He seems smart enough to recognize that, at least.

[Rossiu shakes his head; it's sort of hard to think positively when it seems very likely someone will die before long.]

Regardless, we'll have to keep looking to see what else we can find. Perhaps we'll be able to gain more insight into what happened here and that may guide us.

He seems to be in a powerful enough position that he can afford to be forthright in some respects without losing much ground, given everything we have already seen. I am certain if we keep searching, we will find a means to circumvent him eventually…
