Week 3
Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.
It's a strange sort of feeling, waking up on Sunday. Not the least because, well... you fell asleep on Friday, didn't you? Whether you sleep or not, none of you remember Saturday. Everything, by all accounts, seems to be Sunday. Weird.
It's not all bizarre feelings of lost time that you have to show for your efforts, though - it seems that another wing of New Rapture is ready for you. Perhaps there's more information to be found about your situation there... and maybe more about the history of this place, if that interests you.
There are still 23 of you left... Keep getting to know them. There's regains to get, after all!

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

She speaks of the power Fontaine has over their supposedly pathetic little lives, tiny specks in the unfathomably constellation that is all living things, which hustle and bustle about until they finally expire. The lights in the darkness are only replaced with an infinite number of new ones, but that doesn't make them any less important.
And the wretched man holding them all captive has the audacity to scoop them up from their respective corners of stratosphere,]
Oh man.
[Dandy's entire existence, is blissful primarily because he is free. Or well, he was, he used to be.
He makes little to no money and is bad at his job, his crewmates think lowly of him, and he can't say his foul-mouth or bad temper help with his insatiable desire to somehow bed every adult woman he's ever come across.
And yet Dandy has the privilege of living his life in a Dandy way, and that is just enough.
More than enough.
He should have been more grateful.]
Yeah.
Yeah, I get that. Hard.

[ They've seen for themselves the lengths it can push them to, after all. Just over a week ago and Mielle would never have even imagined Hodaka would be the type to resort to not just violence but murder, not when he seemed so kind and meek. But he had, and they'd been forced to put him to death for it and now not even a full week later it's looking increasingly like they'll have to go through the whole horrible process again.
It's enough to make her sick. ]
I suppose it's too much to hope for that last week was a fluke.

Murder isn't really somethin' I would consider a fluke.
[On account of it being... Pretty intentional, and all? Also grim.
Dandy's eyes squint, he's surely thinking something, but he doesn't utter it aloud.
The thought is as follows:
"There's crazier bastards than them in here."]
Two people died!
[Dandy sighs.]
Sorry. I'm probably harpin' on stuff you already know.
It grinds my gears, too.
[To dust.]

It's not the killing. It's... someone falling for all this. Buying into his lies. I'd hoped that maybe, after seeing what happened to–
[ Her voice catches. Saying Hodaka's name makes her throat feel odd and tight. ]
... after the first trial. I'd expected that everyone would know better... and I'd hope that Penelope was a one off.
