Week 3

Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's a strange sort of feeling, waking up on Sunday. Not the least because, well... you fell asleep on Friday, didn't you? Whether you sleep or not, none of you remember Saturday. Everything, by all accounts, seems to be Sunday. Weird.

It's not all bizarre feelings of lost time that you have to show for your efforts, though - it seems that another wing of New Rapture is ready for you. Perhaps there's more information to be found about your situation there... and maybe more about the history of this place, if that interests you.

There are still 23 of you left... Keep getting to know them. There's regains to get, after all!

The second. [ No hesitation from the relentless ditherer on that one! ] Both can get quite sad, but it is always gonna be worse to know what you are missing.

[ And realizing you don't really know what you are missing anymore, after hundreds of years have let it fade from your memories, is the worst of all. He's been slowly gravitating over to the counter and looking at the flavors. ]

Which one of these is your favorite? Since we are just asking questions now.

Hmm....

[ Interesting. Ice cream really is serious business!

At the return question, Seo Dawon chuckles. ]

I guess we are. [ His eyes follow Nandor's movements before they flicker back to the counter and all it's offerings. ]

None of them. Sweet things aren't to my taste, but if I had to pick...sesame. It's not a flavor here, though.

[ Looking into the big-ass buckets of ice cream I am just assuming they have here, like a godmoding monster, Nandor perks up. ]

Oh, they make sesame ice cream?

[ But then his mood dips right back down! He's for sure had halva, so that, like the taste of barberries or the sun beating down on his back, is just another thing that he can half-remember just enough to miss. All these flavors he will just straight up never taste again... ]

They do, at least in Korea. It's less common in the Western world, I imagine.

[ RIP to Nandor's ice cream dreams... Seo Dawon watches him curiously, but for once he's not rude enough to demand an answer or poke at an open round. ]

Probably as you say. [ His brow furrows as he keeps reading labels. ] I am not seeing anything I remember down here, either, except pistachio. It must all be American.

Vanilla, with a bunch of other junk thrown in. [ He grabs a spoon and scoops a piece, holding it up for Nandor. ]

Peanut butter cups? And fudge, I think.

... The very flavor taunts me. But also, it sounds like they are talking about moose poops and trying to be cute about it, so who would want to eat that anyway?

Westerners? [ He puts the scoop of moose tracks down, he's not eating this. ]

I've heard they put bacon in ice cream too, but I've never tried it. That's probably an American thing.

It sounds American. Really... really love pork in this country.

A prime cut of meat is the best part of a meal, but there's a place for it. I'm kind of surprised there's not a Mc Ronald's here, to be honest. [ Like "Utube" and "Readit", some things are basically universal aside from copyright laws. ]
