Week 4
Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.
Sunday arrives ahead of schedule again, bringing with it the creeping dread that this is just how this is going to go. Welcome to the murdergame cycle.
At least there's another section of the city available to you! This one even has some things to do without you having to make your own fun. Which also means there's more to find about this place.
There's still over 20 of you alive... maybe that's something to celebrate? It could be worse! But... at least one of you is an attempted killer, apparently. Either way, better keep talking if you want regains!

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[ ooc: Welcome to the fourth week of Unknown Seas Round 3! Please make sure to mark any investigation toplevels accordingly, post your ac, and you can reach either Mayor Fontaine or Eleanor for conversations! ]

Granted, his arms are also kind of covered in fabric, given that he's carrying a garment with him. But that's fine.]
Oh... Rossiu, I was hoping to find you! Though I admit that I didn't expect to find you here...

[It's So Much. Anyway, hi Forrest!]
Oh, is that what you were working on?

[It is a coat for you! It looks like he tried to take into account both the concept of the flowing robes and capes as well as the more militaristic styling, and the result is... Well, look at it.]
no subject
This is incredible, Forrest! I didn't doubt your skill before, but I must say, you really have come up with the perfect design! Thank you so much.
[aaaaah it even reminds him of his poncho from when he was a kid... that's so nice...!!!]

Oh, I'm so glad! I was hoping you would like it; the idea came from a few different places, but I ended up liking the effect.
If anything needs alteration or mending, you can come to me with it and I'll take care of it for you.

[He pauses, then clarifies, somewhat sheepishly.]
I don't go out on Thursday nights; I stay inside then.

[It's prudent and it's better to be safe than sorry, but maybe that just makes him a bit cowardly...]
If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know. I'm only capable of the very basics of sewing, but I can at least help bring some materials back to your room, if you'd like.
[...he's probably not strong enough to lift a sewing machine, though.]

[...at least he knows his limits...???]

We didn't have books in Adai, so I only learned how to read after I left. I struggled quite a bit at first, but Leeron was very patient with me. I suppose that's part of why I'm so fascinated with them.

That is a good point, though, that it's mostly been for my studies... I admit I'm not the best student anyway, so it's always felt like a chore to me. I prefer to physically make or do things, instead of reading about other people doing them.
[He kind of glances around the arcade, though.]
...This might be a little much, though, in terms of doing things.

[It's so much. He's so tired. Arcades probably exist in Gurren Lagann and he has never set foot in one.]

[He gestures toward the shooting range.]
It seemed one of the few places to practice with targets that didn't run a risk of hitting someone. Or something that's not meant to be destroyed.
no subject
[Anyway he'll step aside if you want to go ahead and make use of it! Obviously he's not going to, given the complete lack of powers he's displaying.]
no subject
I assume you didn't use anything...?

[That said, let's see what this does! He isn't altogether sure how to make it work, but if it's anything like how magecraft works, it should be fairly intuitive-
And there go the sparks of electricity flaring up around his right hand, good lord.]
Ah... Okay, that's...evidently how that works...
no subject
Interesting... You've figured out how to control it?
no subject
[Through some handwaved stuff with Aiba, he has sorted out how not to just fry you immediately! That said, it's not particularly intuitive, because he overthinks everything and would be just the worst Bioshock protagonist.]
Hitting things with it at will is easier for me; it feels strange not having a tome to hold, but I'm used to directing magic in one way or another.
[He turns, and through some weird gesture that he doesn't seem to have quite practiced enough to be fluid, he manages to fire off a heavy shock of electricity, obliterating one of those targets on the field.]
Like so.
no subject
Incredible... I had no doubts that it did what the Mayor said, but it's something else seeing it in action.
[Having access to this kind of power at all is a little wild to think about. He can see where people would want to try it out or would want to use it as a replacement for the powers they've lost.]
