THIRD TRIAL

[ Two bodies this week. As a result, it's a little longer before Mayor Fontaine's voice calls out over the loudspeakers. ]

All right, that'll do, all of you. Get to the bathyspheres. Trial time.

[ There's fewer bathyspheres this week, aren't there? It's starting to get really noticeable. One by one, alone or in pairs, you descend into the depths. The bottom of the seafloor, a place no human life was meant to travel to unassisted. It's dark, until it isn't, the same bio-luminescent slugs as before lighting up the area and revealing the great glass dome in which the trial takes place.

Within, three more podiums have gone dark. They remain empty as you all gather around into the circle.

The projector clicks on, and you see the silhouette of Mayor Fontaine above you. ]

We all know why we're here. Florida Man and Cryptobro got themselves got. Up to you to figure out who did it, or... well, you know by now.

[ Welcome to your third trial. ]

[ He was busy with Gaius AND Dandy so he, in his arrogance, ignored Joanathan.

He goes down. But he will immediately kick him off right after, getting straight to his feet. ]

[Jonathan tries to restrain him as long as possible, although he is much weaker and likely can't hold him for long.]

Dear Lord, does anyone have rope? We need to restrain him!

[ He will break free soon enough. But maybe multiple people jumping him at once can hold him better.

But it seems he's already striking back at Gaius again, so perhaps there will be another opening there...? ]

[And in what is by far the stupidest and grossest callback in rp history?

zinda’s gonna try and bite down on his sword arm.]

[ The Undertaker hits him in the back with the device, distracting him enough that she's able to bite down on his arm!

Though, Gaius comes in, managing to slash at his arm, assuming he's able to shake off Zinda so there is no friendly fire here, lmao. ]

[yeah alright he's going to try and press the advantage and try to... disarm vholran. perhaps literally. as long as he doesn't die he's sure it's fine.]

[ Vholran shifts at the last minute to prevent a literal disarming, but after being shocked by Jonathan, he doesn't have time to prevent Gaius from hitting his blade out of his hands.

Though, by now all of this fighting does probably get him to put one knee on the ground. He might be a little more susceptible to regular attacks now without having his usual boosts...which sucks. ]

[ Perfect. The Undertaker will jab him in the back with the blunt end of his spear, aiming to knock him down. ]

[he's going to try and get behind him to push him down to the ground.]

[Jonathan is stunned, briefly, as he watches in horror. He is not a fighter, but he has keeps quite a few weapons from the regain machine on his person. He quickly roots through his pocket for anything that could be useful and pulls out something that gives him an idea.

He gets close to Vholran once again and activates his personal space reminder, making sure Vholran is touching it.]

Sigh... They never listen.

[ Whelp. Guess he's gonna have to pull out the spear he's been hiding in his cloak and strike Vholran in the back with the handle. ]
