SECOND INVESTIGATION

Your third Friday in the facility dawns like the last two, where you've historically had a 50-50 shot at not, you know, having someone be murdered somewhere. Needless to say, the atmosphere is probably tense. You've already lost someone, but... is that enough? There's a whole chest of maybe literal pirate gold at stake, here, and for all of you who have derided the motive there's no doubting that money isn't exactly something that nobody out there kills for, right?

The lights of the facility click on to signal the end of nighttime, and one by one you start to wake. Things seem pretty normal as you all leave your rooms, but... didn't you feel this way last week, too?

[Rose, unfortunately, has settled upon the restroom as something of a private place to hide and cry and then maybe wash her face afterwards! She's gotta quit picking stuff up from humans, honestly.

Anyway, is there anything off when she walks in?]

[ well, one of the toilets is making a slight hissing sound, which rose might recognize as Definitely Not Normal For Human Toilets ]

[ The toilet itself is just kind of running - the bowl isn't overflowing, but there's definitely water coming out from under the tank lid... ]

[That's weird. She thought the water went in the other part? Well, let's take the lid off and have a look!]

[ It... looks like someone went and stuffed a tuxedo jacket in here??? ]

Rose pulls the jacket out, holding it over the tank for now to keep it from dripping on herself. Is there anything visibly off about it, other than being soaked?]

[ nope! just soaked and sad and on the smaller side, size-wise. congratulations! ]

[well in that case she's gonna just wring it out a bit before inevitably having to carry this all the way up to the courtroom

look we don't know what happens if rose quartz's pure white dress gets soaked and we aren't gonna find out neither]

[ rose has the toilet, but it looks like someone's messed around a little by the sinks, if you care to check ]

[ Not the blood kind of mess, mostly just the soap kind of mess!

... also there's something in one of the sink bowls. ]

About how long is it? And does it have anything on it, like soap or blood? ]

[ It's decently long, for sure, but it has no blood and some soap, yes ]

[ Also just to be clear, is the soap around the sink suds or just... liquid soap dripped on everything? ]

[bathymetric]

[ It's soap suds, mostly! But some liquid soap in there, too - whoever it was used a lot of it very fast. ]
