Week 7
Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.
Less than ten of you left, now. The halls of your little slice of Rapture sure must feel empty now, hm? Even compared to their general size, you're going to naturally find yourself more and more alone more and more often. That's just statistics.
You may find yourself flagging. You may find it difficult to move on. Your captor has offered you so little respite, so little in the way of answers. The ocean is dark and foreboding. But remember this: in the darkest times, the brightest lights can shine.
As you wake once again on Sunday, there's another wing of New Rapture open to you, smaller than the ones before it. More to see, more to find, as your ally the vending machine might say.

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

Mielle looks completely befuddled – torn between shock, disbelief and the wide-eyed alarm of a deer in headlights. ]
C... Cain...? B–but that's... you couldn't really...?

And you'd be tradin Mafuyu for him.

Y–you... w–was singling me out [ you know, accurately ] in front of everyone not enough for you? Now you're accusing me of a crime that hasn't even happened yet?

[Forrest's voice is quiet, but...]

[ There's a moment of... well, the sound of tapping at a computer keyboard before there's an opening in the roof of the other room and an additional coffin, completely blank, lowers down from the ceiling to a few paces from the glass. ]
So this is where I say the magic words. But, since dear Seo Dawon isn't here to impress, I'm just going to skip those and open the coffin.
[ The coffin opens and out stumbles... well, a very alive and well Hodaka Morishima. ]
Good morning, Stormchaser. Care to confirm your identity for the people at home?
2/3 cw: slight breathing difficulties
Who? Wha- what...? Where am...? [ As he gets his bearings, his questions die off, because now instead of the coffins, he's looking out at something else. At the rest of you. ] You...guys... But that's not... Am I- am I in the—
[ He can't bring himself to say it. Instead, he starts to stumble forward, toward the glass. ]
Hey, whatever's going on, don't—

[ There's the BANG of a gunshot, and Hodaka staggers back into the coffin, which closes as it's clear that Hodaka Morishima is, once again, dead. ]
If you aren't sure, I can bring him out again, but I'm not sure he'd appreciate it.

No - no!
[He hits the glass a few more times, the sound getting increasingly desperate.]
Let me see Midori at least, let me... Let me see her, let her know that I'm...!

[This is the first time he's really spoken to the Mayor; he's likely making a hell of a first impression, but he doesn't care.]

What– what did you do to him?!

[oh she's feeling kind of sick as well
and just standing a bit closer to Mielle, now]
