Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

Less than ten of you left, now. The halls of your little slice of Rapture sure must feel empty now, hm? Even compared to their general size, you're going to naturally find yourself more and more alone more and more often. That's just statistics.

You may find yourself flagging. You may find it difficult to move on. Your captor has offered you so little respite, so little in the way of answers. The ocean is dark and foreboding. But remember this: in the darkest times, the brightest lights can shine.

As you wake once again on Sunday, there's another wing of New Rapture open to you, smaller than the ones before it. More to see, more to find, as your ally the vending machine might say.

[After entirely too long of staring at Skittles and going "wait what color is that again", I think I've got an answer!

[ Ding ding ding! The bizarre skittle-powered lock mechanism opens up, and inside you find a violet key and a ship in a bottle! There's also a small note! ]

[Excellent!! And now I really want Skittles. Anyway, might as well start with the note, what do we have here?]

If you're reading this, either you don't care about these keys because you are literally in charge of everything now or something went wrong and you're new here! If it's the former, fuck you! If it's the second, these are part of your ticket out of here!

Two years ago, a man named Frank Fontaine gathered 25 people together to help finish up this city. He trusted eight of these keys to eight of the founders to activate an override that gives you total control over the city. When things started going south, I stole seven of them and tucked them away throughout the parts of the city we have access to right now. These keys won't get you out on their own, but they are the start of one way out of here, if you can get both the silver key and the gold key. I don't know who has the silver key, and the gold key only Fontaine knows.

If you want, though, these keys should unlock all the remaining areas from the Hall of the Founders - both parts of Mercury Mile, Helios Suites, Apollo Alley, Demeter's Slice, Goddess Row, and City Hall. And if you want to go through our offices for whatever reason, learn more about who we were, they'll help with that too. Just plug them all into the bathysphere console and turn.

[Oh! Oh, that's fantastic news, this actually sounds like we can make progress in some meaningful way... Okay, alright, this will definitely be important for our next meeting.

About the note itself: does the handwriting match anything we've seen before? Anything else on the back of it or anything?]

[ It's actually typewritten! Nothing else about it worth noting, though. ]

[Huh! What about the ship in a bottle? Is there anything noteworthy about this?]

[ Relatively minor detail - the edges of it are a little cracked, and if tested it's a stronger glass than you'd expect - like someone was anticipating throwing it! The ship is also named the HMS Endeavour. ]

[Huh! Weird. That doesn't really mean anything to him, but good to know! Anything else noteworthy about the key or the rest of these items?]

[ Nope, other than that the key matches the rest of the color keys! And they will in fact fit in rainbow order if you get everyone with one together and follow the instructions on the thing in the Hall of the Founders. ]
