[ Welcome to... a very nice beach, actually! It's very pleasant here. Carmen has set up a couple bonfires, there's some barbecues with meat to cook... and a lot of beach to hang out on! ]

Welcome to California's Pigeon Point Light Station State Park! Between Santa Cruz and San Francisco, just south of Pescadero, this lighthouse gets it's name from the Carrier Pigeon, a ship that wrecked here in 1853! ... Sorry, old habit. Go party. We have the whole place to ourselves. Most everyone here's been through something like this, or knows someone who has. And... the vending machine's bringing in some friends of yours, too.

[ It's a warm late summer night - not too hot for bonfires, but not too chilly that you need to stick by them to survive.

You've made it to the end. There are fellow survivors to meet and commiserate with, friends to meet or catch up with, and... it's over. For those of you returning, it's been about a year since the end of Round 2, and Carmen's gotten the word out to as many people as she can between trying to help this round and tracking down Round 0. If you'd like to play a hostage from the first motive, just know that they will remember it, but it's up to the player in the main round if time has passed since then or not so... it may have been a day or two ago or it may have been months! And hell with it, if you want to play a Round 0 character you suggested back in r1, come talk to us. Why not?

[ Aside from a snide comment or two, Seo Dawon wasn't really present at the reunion. He's far from antisocial but his priorities are the same as ever, and for him personally, it's not like he's really alive again. It might have been in everyone's best interest that he kept to himself and by way of that, ignored Cipher since you really can't take the vengeful out a vengeful ghost.

But once they arrive at the beach, away from New Rapture, the second he can see the interfaces he's used to even if they're not functioning properly, that all changes as he speaks a single word. ]

[Gravity]. [ Anyone who's from a world where magic or the supernatural exist will see an absolutely enormous gold magic circle appear beneath the group's feet. There also might be a pressure, like the very sky and stars will fall down upon them. It lasts less than a second, Dawon waving his hand with a smirk as he cancels the spell. ]

The fireworks really don't even come close.

[ Aside from his initial display, he probably won't grandstand much unless you ask? Magic shows aside, he really doesn't have much to do here but he does have a very long list of things to get back to at home. There's a few people he will seek out around the bonfire before he leaves, but those who lived will get an "Did you miss me? ♥" while those who were dead will get a chipper "How's it feel?" if their eyes meet.

[As Seo approaches her sitting at the bonfire, she gives him a smile that's only a bit strained.

She dips her hand into the fire like it's a normal thing to do, and watches in amusement as her hand catches flame. No marks, no burns. Like Seo, it's not like she's been returned to life.

Still, at least she has her magic to cover it all up now, all the ugly scars and shards of glass jutting out of her skull.]

It's weird. It feels like we won something, but I'm not sure I did.

[ If this is what they're doing, he sticks his own hand into the fire, though in his case it does leave a injury like you would expect. He doesn't have any proper reaction to it though. ]

[She looks out at the ocean, at the so-called friends they made in this place all chattering away and celebrating and her lips purse. No. They're not like them, are they.]

I miss when time meant something, honestly. [She's not normally this emo, but she doesn't really feel like pretending anymore.]

[ They could pretend to be, but there's no point to that now. At least to him. ]

That's easy to fix, just find someone living who's as gullible as Hodaka and bond yourself to them. [ He's going to have a headache as soon as he gets back, but now that he can feel their link he at least knows that things aren't spiraling right this moment

Relationships. Interpret the word however you like, but I don't need to tell you how useful they are, do I? Vholran-ie and Misfire-yah each get their own type of fun too~.

[She huffs a laugh at that. She's definitely bonded herself to many people as gullible and perhaps, even more so than Hodaka. Penny, Katja, Zelda... Of course, that ship has sailed now that she tried to ritually sacrifice them.]

I guess Vholran figured out he can't really win on his own then. [She remembers an argument where Vholran seemed to think being an asshole and shunting everyone away was a viable strategy to this game, and Penelope laughed at him as someone who never understood how an elimination game is supposed to work.

She never held him in as much contempt as the people who sneered at her when her own execution came, even as she antagonized them, but she did think of him as kind of an idiot.]

But like, I've gotta ask though... How does it... work with Misfire? Does he have... [She cocks her head in contemplation. Yes, she's leaping to conclusions, sorry Dawon.] I mean, I assume he doesn't have a dick...

[She breaks into giggles at his reaction. She got the feeling that they probably weren't sleeping together, just by virtue of the fact that Misfire is a car... robot... and she's not even sure he goes for mammals like Seo.

Still, he was extra saucy at Misfire on multiple occasions, she truly would not be surprised either way.]

[ Between Seo Dawon's lightshow and the sudden storm that picks up for a half second as a byproduct of Hild getting back to full power (with her holding back some), it's a very flashy couple of a seconds. But it's gone as soon as it comes, and Hild whistles as she floats over, head tilting to the side. Her eyes are a dull, two-tone purple sort of vibe for a moment before that also passes. ]

That was pretty impressive. Being able to manifest a circle that large that quickly is no small task.

[ She sounds legitimately impressed for a change! ]

Well, if I'm going to specialize in something I'm going to be the best at it~. I have over 500 spells, but my focus is AOE spells for maximum damage. That's why you can see my circles too, since technically it's a disadvantage for a mage to show where they're casting, so there's a buff to accommodate...though if you can't escape the spell anyway, there's really only something to gain not lose.

And given how quickly it manifests, I assume there's not much of a reaction time to be able to counter it, anyway.
