WEEK 4

Another trial, another week, and still you're probably running lower on answers than you'd like. And on people - you lost three since last Sunday. By the end of this week, you'll have been here for nearly a full month, yet still the days crawl on.

You wake up Sunday, again with no memory of Saturday, but this time with a simple message on your devices: You may resume requesting items, if you like. Enjoy. Guess it really was just a stealth motive after all, but at least it's being communicated that it's over! That's something, at least.

And when you leave your rooms on Sunday, there's another new area to explore! This one is... certainly more ambitious in its construction than the last one, to say the least. But hey, you have a pretty neat place to host parties, if you feel so inclined! That's... fun...

Hey, you gotta find the fun in situations like this where you can! Silver linings, right?

I'd like to think I don't exactly walk around with a big target on my back...

[ Though she won't pretend that the thought has never crossed her mind. Still, isn't that making her out to be a bit too important? ]

As long as no one tries anything, I won't have to do my thing. Believe me, no one wants that more than me, Anna.

Well, sometimes one has to wonder. Most important person's wish... Enough people in here are that sentimental. As for me, I think it can go far too wrong.

I think it can, too. I want to be optimistic, though. The motive is hard, and everyone's morale is obviously low, but...I want to believe that doesn't mean it's a guarantee that we're going to have one less among us by the end of the week.

And what do you suppose he'll do if we don't?

He'll probably do something that's aiming to force someone's hand, if he can. Like last week...we already know that he isn't exactly patient.

What does he need this for? To power what, how?

I...wish I could tell you, myself. Four weeks in, and we don't know all that much more than when we started.

It isn't as if we've made no progress. Just not enough.

You're not wrong. I don't want to discount the efforts that everyone has made, and we've stumbled across a lot of interesting finds...

[ There's a crack of the baseball bat, as it makes contact with a pitch... ]

But having more conclusive evidence of what we're doing here...that's the kind of hit we need.

No one's found that mystery symbol again, have they? But it's supposed to be hidden somewhere besides the chapel.
