WEEK 4

Another trial, another week, and still you're probably running lower on answers than you'd like. And on people - you lost three since last Sunday. By the end of this week, you'll have been here for nearly a full month, yet still the days crawl on.

You wake up Sunday, again with no memory of Saturday, but this time with a simple message on your devices: You may resume requesting items, if you like. Enjoy. Guess it really was just a stealth motive after all, but at least it's being communicated that it's over! That's something, at least.

And when you leave your rooms on Sunday, there's another new area to explore! This one is... certainly more ambitious in its construction than the last one, to say the least. But hey, you have a pretty neat place to host parties, if you feel so inclined! That's... fun...

Hey, you gotta find the fun in situations like this where you can! Silver linings, right?

[This week continues to happen, and Sly's continuing efforts to act like everything's fine are continuing with varying levels of success.

Just gotta straighten his laser bow tie and get to the task at hand today. Which so happens to involve finally parking himself in the vending machine room to make use of those coins he's accumulated.

Catch him, cross-legged on the floor, sorting through his gains and... slicing up pieces of the gingerbread house with his new "letter opener".

Step in and he'll turn his ten gallon hatted-head in your direction, sword hand lowering for obvious reasons, gesturing with his other hand to the gingerbread ruins.]

...Want a piece?

[At least once the evenings rolled around, that mess has been cleaned up and squared away. And Sly, with nothing else to do, retires to a corner of the library where...

Well. He's on top of a chair.

Perched on it, seemingly with perfect balance. Not even thinking about it as he flips through a book about the world's oceans.

So, that's his evening.]

Course I do. Just taking in all of the new stuff I got. For what it's worth, I'm glad none of it is explosive or poisonous, so far.

[His eyes light up as he picks up... it looks like a bottle with paper stuffed in the top.]

Twenty-nine more of these and I'll have a vault code.

[ He's... trying to decide what's weirder: the hat Sly's now wearing, or the fact he's being offered floor gingerbread. Or maybe... it's better not to know. ]

Looks like you got enough food to last you awhile, though.

Nah, most of this is going into the kitchen... Provided I can find a way to get it in there.

Zelos clicks his tongue, sucking air through his clenched teeth. ]

Y'know, as tempting as a whole stick of butter sounds, I'd rather not. Trying to watch what I eat, y'know.

Yeah. Me too. And I'd just try to put it on ice for when we get out of here, but...
