WEEK 5
That's three murders now - and this last trial got more than slightly out of hand. It looks like you might be in for another tough week... or at least, maybe that's just the refusal of this place to change too much. You lose Saturday again, but maybe six-day weeks are starting to feel normal by now. Who knows? The cycle of day and night continues apace, changing so little.
Speaking of change, though, there's a new area to look through, the biggest and most complex yet. And the end of one wing of the facility, from the looks of it - though you can probably guess where more areas might start to open up.
And speaking of opening up (segues!), this week if you're out particularly late, you might sometimes see Angel out and about! So hey, maybe change is on the horizon.
Just gotta hope it's a change for the better, don't you?

She is indeed wearing a pair of boots, so... let's step inside as carefully as possibly, and move along the walls to search for that lightswitch... ]

This was clearly an exhibit of some kind at one point, along the lines of the weapons room right next to it. But uh... it looks like the apocalypse happened in here, this place has been raided. Most of the cases are broken, their contents missing or scattered on the ground, the banner with the title of this exhibit has been torn in half (half of which is completely unaccounted-for), and someone has taken spray-paint to the walls.
For conciseness's sake, you've got the cases, the banner, and the graffiti to examine. Time for some full-on investigation here, Mira! ]

Okay. Let's start with the banner. What can we make out of what's left? ]

It's the same construction as the banners that give you the titles of the other exhibits, but hanging off the wall by one rope! It reads MEMORIES: KEEPSAKES OF- and that's what you can make out before the tear. ]

She'll actually snap a photo of the banner, just in case things change in here. Listen, she's not sure if the Professor can do that, but she does know everything is monitored. She'll also write down that delightful title in her notepad...
Let's look at the cases next! What do we have in here? ]

So the first thing you're going to find, off to the right, is some kind of... paper lantern? Or at least the slightly torn remains of one, looks like it got hit by a couple stray pieces of glass. ]

She kind of hates it, though, but you know. So It Goes. If that's the last case, let's take a look at the graffiti! ]

But in red on one of the walls you can see "LAB RATS NO MORE" scrawled out. ]

Yeah, snapping another photo of that. She doesn't like the implications of this room, combined with the theory that they're not the first group to have gone through this...
Anyway, she'll get a few more photos of the general look of the room, and if there's nothing else, she'll start to take her leave. ]

That's all there is to find in here, but if she comes over tomorrow, she'll find that the broken glass and banner have been removed, but otherwise the scene is left intact. ]
