WEEK 5

That's three murders now - and this last trial got more than slightly out of hand. It looks like you might be in for another tough week... or at least, maybe that's just the refusal of this place to change too much. You lose Saturday again, but maybe six-day weeks are starting to feel normal by now. Who knows? The cycle of day and night continues apace, changing so little.

Speaking of change, though, there's a new area to look through, the biggest and most complex yet. And the end of one wing of the facility, from the looks of it - though you can probably guess where more areas might start to open up.

And speaking of opening up (segues!), this week if you're out particularly late, you might sometimes see Angel out and about! So hey, maybe change is on the horizon.

Just gotta hope it's a change for the better, don't you?

[Shelley stares at the creature for just a little bit longer, before finally bringing up something that may be important:]

...so...you planning to tell the fella about...you know?

[ Rin sneaks a quick glance at it. It's probably tilting its head at them at this point, poor thing. ]

I'm not prepared to have that kind of conversation...!

[Shelley flashes an awkward smile at the strange thing -- she feels so bad, and she almost irrationally fears it would read on her face what happened to its trainer. Oh god, this is not a fun time for anyone involved]

It'll have to find out someday...but it won't be from us.

What happened to the other one? If there's anyone it should hear it from, then...

I have no idea. I haven't seen that one in a while. Maybe...this one can smell it, if it has been wandering around.

[Oh, great, Shelley is starting to be worried for the giant badger's wellbeing. She hopes it's okay]

Ugh, whatever! [ The issue is making her feel a little frazzled, so she responds Like That. ] Look, we'll figure it out somehow. How hard can it be to track down a giant animal?
