WEEK 5

That's three murders now - and this last trial got more than slightly out of hand. It looks like you might be in for another tough week... or at least, maybe that's just the refusal of this place to change too much. You lose Saturday again, but maybe six-day weeks are starting to feel normal by now. Who knows? The cycle of day and night continues apace, changing so little.

Speaking of change, though, there's a new area to look through, the biggest and most complex yet. And the end of one wing of the facility, from the looks of it - though you can probably guess where more areas might start to open up.

And speaking of opening up (segues!), this week if you're out particularly late, you might sometimes see Angel out and about! So hey, maybe change is on the horizon.

Just gotta hope it's a change for the better, don't you?

It is likely... Mira did recognize a drawing of my, ah, other form as a 'dragon'. Not that I admitted it was me at the time. [Though...] But we likely are different. Mother came from the Blue Sea Star, after all.

[I know Della likes stars... How good is she at recognizing different names for stars? Because Seiros sure does sound like a certain star.]

...A star? You mean like...an alien?

Alien...? Well, I suppose we were foreign. Mother chose Fodlan as her home after traveling far. You can see the star shining bright blue in the sky most of the year; sometimes even during the day. I have not seen beyond the continent myself, however.

Whoa. You're talking about...Sirius, the dog star? That's...that's coming from space talk.

The dog star? It is associated with wolves... If only I had my star charts...

[Which she won't get because I only found out about them after the game started.]

It could just be stars that resemble each other. I've run into enough similar-but-different parts of our worlds. Either way, it definitely sounds like a space origin.

I do believe you would be correct there... Admittedly, I could not tell you much beyond that was where Mother was from.

It's fine. It just...gives me a little more perspective, honestly.
