WEEK 5

That's three murders now - and this last trial got more than slightly out of hand. It looks like you might be in for another tough week... or at least, maybe that's just the refusal of this place to change too much. You lose Saturday again, but maybe six-day weeks are starting to feel normal by now. Who knows? The cycle of day and night continues apace, changing so little.

Speaking of change, though, there's a new area to look through, the biggest and most complex yet. And the end of one wing of the facility, from the looks of it - though you can probably guess where more areas might start to open up.

And speaking of opening up (segues!), this week if you're out particularly late, you might sometimes see Angel out and about! So hey, maybe change is on the horizon.

Just gotta hope it's a change for the better, don't you?

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

[ ooc: Welcome to Week 5! Remember to turn in AC here, threads for regain coins here, and if you feel so inclined you can visit Angel's office hours over here! Or, if you want Angel to come to you, that's now an option! Simply put a prompt after lights-out into your toplevel and indicate you want Angel in the subject line, same as investigations! ]

I can't say that I exactly blame them...I've never had one myself, but they're so cute, how could you not, right?

[ She doesn't seem all that heartbroken, from the way she's smiling over the fence-- ]

Are the people in the song important to them, then?

Andraste? "Important" is a bit of an understatement. [She bends down briefly to pick up her papers and brush off a bit of dirt with her gloved hands.]

If you throw a rock in Thedas you'll probably hit an an Andrastian. Then they'll explain to you the goodness and light and mercy of their Lady Andraste, Bride of the Maker. Then ask you why you threw a rock at them. [There's an awful lot of eye-rolling involved here.]

Ah, we have fanatics like that back where I come from, too. They knock on the door and explain their faith, and they try to get you to take their books...

[ Definitely a bit of a nuisance for everyone involved... ]

Not much we can really do about them, but it's definitely a pain when they come by bright and early on a Sunday morning, when you're just looking to sleep in a little.
bogwife: Won't you spare me over 'til another year? (Whoa Death)

Less fanatics and more the world's main religion that I want as little to do with as possible and the feeling is quite mutual.

They do have lovely songs and even lovelier lay brothers though.

Well, that's not the worst silver lining in the world, then. You can admire them while they sing, and give them the door when they actually, you know, talk. I think I can see that.

[She giggles and nods.] The nice thing about that is I think they learned their lesson the last time they tried to convert me. They trekked all the way from town to my cave, ready to sing the Chant of Light, and then ended up sprinting back across the bridges the moment I came to greet them wearing a man's tunic and local golden boy Ser Ther was a little too noisy trying to sneakily gather his armor pieces.

[Her mount-sized toothless wyvern probably din't help either but details.]
