That's three murders now - and this last trial got more than slightly out of hand. It looks like you might be in for another tough week... or at least, maybe that's just the refusal of this place to change too much. You lose Saturday again, but maybe six-day weeks are starting to feel normal by now. Who knows? The cycle of day and night continues apace, changing so little.

Speaking of change, though, there's a new area to look through, the biggest and most complex yet. And the end of one wing of the facility, from the looks of it - though you can probably guess where more areas might start to open up.

And speaking of opening up (segues!), this week if you're out particularly late, you might sometimes see Angel out and about! So hey, maybe change is on the horizon.

Just gotta hope it's a change for the better, don't you?

He's also a few hundred years old now.

I found him out in the desert near some...old Gem tech.

He seems to be. He just does regular lion stuff, for the most part.

...Except I've never seen a lion just kind of hang out with people before.

I hang out with lions all the time.

For us, uh... It's a little dangerous to hang out with wild animals. Like...if we get too into their space, or they feel threatened, that's...an accident waiting to happen.

Well, he's safe to be with. He's met humans with me before. [no guarantee on talking ducks, but]

He has? Okay. Okay, that's reassuring. [ is....does he want to sniff.... how's lion, is he still all runnin' around? ]

[Yes. Yes he does want to sniff. He then stares at Della for a moment, before dropping to the ground. It is time for Nap now.]

They all do spend a lot of time resting.

...Oh, he's just a really big house cat.

[ That's?? Adorable??? He's like three times her size and three times as old but he's a Baby. ]

Isn't that what lions are? Big cats?

They're a bit more...predatory.

Well, he doesn't really hunt anymore. I think the lionesses usually do it anyway.

Really? The Lion King was telling the truth. I guess if he's...that old, it'd make sense if he got complacent eventually. [ ...A small laugh. ] Mostly. My uncle's still active and fit as a fiddle.

I guess it's different for a cat.

Sure looks like it! Ohh, I'd ask if he likes belly rubs but I'm still a little worried he'll crush me trying to rub up against me.

He does like them...

Just don't do it while he's sleeping, maybe.
