FOURTH INVESTIGATION

It's certainly been another interesting week here at the bottom of the ocean. You met what may or may not have been a ghost, you made some discoveries, but mostly you all kept yourselves busy against the crushing... well, pressure of your situation. The motive again seems to have hit a few of you, and it might not be too hard at all to think that this week isn't going to be any different than the last. But you've all been keeping yourselves busy against the looming Friday, and, well...

It's time to see if that paid off, or if what they say about idle hands is true, I suppose.

But in his fall (which did break him), he seems to have broken open a case of navigational tools. ]

[RIP sweet prince. So...does it look like anything is missing from the case? She's mostly looking for suspiciously blank spots.]

[ Yup! There's something small that's been removed from the case. ]

[Huh. She hasn't been here often enough to figure out what's missing. Might have to ask Della. While she's here though, is there anything else that's been disturbed? She'll even look up to check the ceiling boat.]

[ Good eye, Nira!

There's a rope hanging down from the boat above. ]

[She pulls on it lightly. Does it feel like it's secured to anything in there?]

[ Yup! Might well be some kind of grappling hook. ]

[ladygeryon]

[Alright. Does it feel like it'll take her weight if she tries to hang from it for a moment? If so, she'll try climbing up.]

[ She's free to! The boat itself is empty, though - nothing of note left behind. ]

[ladygeryon]

[Well then. She'll take a few photos of the broken case and the grappling hook in the boat with her tablet, then. That'll probably be useful evidence later on.]
