WEEK 6

Another week, another three lost - and this time all to one murder case. And that's to say nothing of the execution, or whatever went on with that ouija board that still sits in the library... strange things are afoot in the facility, and some of them not even your captor seems fully equipped to explain.

The other of the two doors in the main living area finally opens after another lost Saturday, and what lies beyond is... strange, to say the least. Looks like there's no shortage of changes, even in the architecture. It certainly seems like you should have gotten something like this before the water park at the very least, don't you think?

Angel's still out and about at night, if you want to be found. And who knows what else you might find if you're out alone? Apparently, you might have a ghost on your hands.

[ No secrets to be found here... Alright, let's start looking through the cabinets! ]

[ Alright, so! The cabinets are all fully stocked with ingredients, but notably there are no brand names - everything is labelled with what it is in block letters, and above it there's a solid black hexagon. ]

[philoxenia]

[ Hmm, this feels significant! She snaps a photo just for consistency's sake. If she moves the items around, is she going to find anything? ]

[bathymetric]

[ At the back of one of the cabinets, there's a symbol carved into the corner of the wood. That might be something. ]

[philoxenia]

It's that symbol again...

[ Which she takes a photo of! If there's nothing left in the cabinets to find, she'll move onto the fridge. ]

[ Well, the wood it's been carved into looks a little... off, so to speak. ]

[philoxenia]

[ Oh, exciting!

It does smell like seawater in the general... everything of this wing, does it have anything to do with that? ]

[bathymetric]

[ Maybe! It looks like maybe you could push or move it back? ]

[philoxenia]

[ Time to give it a little push... Reveal your secrets, mystery wood! ]

[bathymetric]

[ You fiiiiiiiiind... something almost wholesome in this terrible place! There's some salt crystals stuck on them, but there's a stash of some candy bars back here!

And, not covered in salt crystals, there's an envelope. ]

[ Ah, sweet! (Literally!) Time to snap some photos...

She'll grab that envelope and open it up! ]

[ It's a handwritten page, with significant water damage, but! It appears to be a letter of some kind - you can make out a couple phrases, like "stay strong" and "don't let him win." Neither the sender nor the recipient is clear.

On the back, written in red, are the words i miss them so much

This one, perhaps, is less wholesome. ]

[ Oh, how nice--

That's less nice! She folds that up and tucks it away... Anything else in this secret compartment? ]

[ It's fine everything's fine.

That seems to be all in here! Just one small thing in the fridge and you'll be done in here! ]

[ A surprise in the fridge!! How exciting!

Let's open that sucker up, then. ]

[bathymetric]

[ [professor voice] a body has been discovered!!

Nah, but it's just a little notable that all of the food in here is brand-name. Perishables, y'all.
