WEEK 6

Another week, another three lost - and this time all to one murder case. And that's to say nothing of the execution, or whatever went on with that ouija board that still sits in the library... strange things are afoot in the facility, and some of them not even your captor seems fully equipped to explain.

The other of the two doors in the main living area finally opens after another lost Saturday, and what lies beyond is... strange, to say the least. Looks like there's no shortage of changes, even in the architecture. It certainly seems like you should have gotten something like this before the water park at the very least, don't you think?

Angel's still out and about at night, if you want to be found. And who knows what else you might find if you're out alone? Apparently, you might have a ghost on your hands.

[She'll just come over and...well, what's on fire exactly?]

[ It's something in the oven! It...looks like it's trying to be cupcakes, but instead, it's fire! ]

[Rose opens the oven!

.....Rose closes the oven.]

Um. [well frequently her first instinct in these situations is to punch the offending machine, but maybe that's not...] Let's turn it off?

Oh!! Oh, that's...probably a good idea...!!

[ Della precariously hops on one leg and rights the bowl on the counter, while setting the other down. It's dumb.

did. did she just give up on this batch and start mixing another- yeah. yeah that's it. ]

[Rose doesn't really know enough about baking to pick up on that fact, honestly. Maybe the bowl and the oven are part of the same big thing?

Anyway, uh....well, she can see the dial with the light by it, so she gets the oven off in a few seconds.]

Okay! [Problem solved!

I mean the fire is still there but it'll go out eventually right] Now what?

[ That fire surely won't cause any problems!! ]

Well... I keep trying to make another batch but it keeps...ending up like this.

...maybe you could ask Mira for help? She showed me how to bake a couple things earlier!

[ A MAJOR SIGH ] I know, I know... But I sort of wanted to make something...for her, too. You know? Something nice.

[Rose sighs.]

I know. I would have made her a - [oh shit, hold up, didn't she come in here for a reason] - oh! I forgot, I made you something!

I'm always making something. It might as well be for somebody, right?

[Also she can't very well give one to Mira now, so.]

Here! [he probably doesn't have glass eyes, just crochet ones, but you get it]

[ Della takes the little friend with a fascinated smile. She turns it over in her hand. ...How big is this, incidentally, compared to Della, the three-foot tall one. ]

You've gotten really good at this, Rose. What a sweet little... A giraffe?

[It's not all that big, maybe like six inches tall at most?]

I'm glad you like it! [She is like, visibly delighted.]

No, not really! I've never been all that good at making things before.

Well, then you've shown an incredible improvement. You've just been teaching yourself?

Uh - well, no. There were some instructions with the kit.

[Rose still seems a little flummoxed by getting like. Actual compliments for a thing she did.]

Still! Instructions and an actual teacher are two different things. You've really come a long way!
