Another week, another three lost - and this time all to one murder case. And that's to say nothing of the execution, or whatever went on with that ouija board that still sits in the library... strange things are afoot in the facility, and some of them not even your captor seems fully equipped to explain.

The other of the two doors in the main living area finally opens after another lost Saturday, and what lies beyond is... strange, to say the least. Looks like there's no shortage of changes, even in the architecture. It certainly seems like you should have gotten something like this before the water park at the very least, don't you think?

Angel's still out and about at night, if you want to be found. And who knows what else you might find if you're out alone? Apparently, you might have a ghost on your hands.

Now that you mention it... I wouldn't say no to rosemary and basil. Ah, and some mint.

[Hm... She smiles as she stands up.]

Consider it done, then. To get to the kitchen, turn right into a room filled with... odd tables. Then go into the first room.

Odd tables... alright. I'll meet you there, then.

[ She returns Rhea's smile, then heads on over! ... she's still cleaning the oven by the time Rhea arrives, probably. ]

[Like what is air hockey??? How would a dragon know that???]

[Rhea's got the herbs for you! She also has some rags tied around her hands as makeshift gloves. You never know with that garden, after all.]

Anyway, once Rhea comes in, Mira straightens up, holding a dirty rag. ]

I think it's about as good as I'll get it... [ She looks a little troubled, and when she pulls out an envelope to hand to Rhea, that should make sense. ] I did some looking around and found this.

She smiles warmly but that fades once she sees the envelope. She reads it and:]

The damage is extensive but... this reminds me of the letter I got from Seteth.

[Is this a dead letter? And...] Miss them so much?

Mm. It definitely feels familiar...

[ And she doesn't like that it does... ]

Whoever it's referring to... it must be from... or about that group before us.

They wanted to keep it safe...

[...This doesn't feel right at all.]

So things have repeated themselves again. That is not good. [Understatement.]

[ She mulls that over, then looks at Rhea. ]

We'll break it this time--we'll make sure this cycle doesn't repeat. I know we will.

I believe that too. [A small smile.] Perhaps that is why Mother allowed the differing branches of the river of time to entertwine.

[Er, that's a little heavy--] That is, perhaps that is why we met.

I think... that's a poetic way to put it.

[ She returns the smile, then claps her hands together just lightly. ]

And now, I get to treat you to something delicious. Fate was very kind to us in that regard, at least.

I have been told that I have a way with words.

[She wrote a bible. That gets a chuckle.]

I have to thank both you and Mother.

I can believe it.

[ She smiles slightly. ]

Wait to thank me after you've had what I've made for you. Can I get the lavender?

Of course, Mira. I wouldn't want to ruin your surprise, after all.

[ She'll start pulling down those ingredients. ]

How sweet is "too sweet" for you?

Ah, well.

[She thinks on the question.]

I prefer mild things, even when it comes to sweetness.

I can work with that. Balancing shouldn't be too difficult...

[ Along with the lavender, she pulls out some honey and lemons! ]

[She's just going to look around the kitchen for things to help her.]

Do you need any assistance?

Hmm... can you get me flour, baking soda, sugar, and... salt?

I think I can handle that. They should be labeled, correct?

They should be, yes. [ And she gives Rhea a grateful smile. ] Thank you.
