Another week, another three lost - and this time all to one murder case. And that's to say nothing of the execution, or whatever went on with that ouija board that still sits in the library... strange things are afoot in the facility, and some of them not even your captor seems fully equipped to explain.

The other of the two doors in the main living area finally opens after another lost Saturday, and what lies beyond is... strange, to say the least. Looks like there's no shortage of changes, even in the architecture. It certainly seems like you should have gotten something like this before the water park at the very least, don't you think?

Angel's still out and about at night, if you want to be found. And who knows what else you might find if you're out alone? Apparently, you might have a ghost on your hands.

Which is to say that Lion has arrived to bat some of these ingredients off the counter.]

Despite Rose's cavalier attitude toward Lion running around unleashed, Rin is not wholly comfortable with a wild predator being in the kitchen! And she's even less comfortable with trying to make one stop playing with the food. Still, it looks like she no choice...! ]

H-hey, stop that...! I need that!

[ She calls out from the opposite end of the room. ]

[Yes, but have you considered: spice bottles skitter across the ground in a super fun way when you bat them.

Lion bats a spice bottle across the floor and immediately pounces on it again.]

[mouflon]

Whuaaa—!

[ Rin jumps back against the wall and makes a noise that is definitely a squeal. ]

S-seriously, cut it out! Or else I'll have to go tell Rose you're being a bad kitty!

[lovelikeyou]

[Lion abandons his chase to stare at Rin. You know, with them big ol' cat eyes.]

[mouflon]

[ hhhh ]

Yeah, you heard me. [ Rin takes a small, shuffling step closer. ] Now get out of here, I'm trying to cook.

[lovelikeyou]

[Sucks for you, because it's time to get sniffed by a lion!

This would be about when Rose walks in.]

Oh! Are you making friends?

[mouflon]

[ Rin freezes up. So it's probably a good thing Rose interrupts when she does! ]

H-he... He's been getting in the way! Tell him to leave my food alone.

[lovelikeyou]

Oh, I'm sorry! He's never been in a kitchen before.

[She'll just go over to pick up the bottle.]

I think he wants you to pet him. [That's probably what the up-close staring is, anyway.]

[mouflon]

[ She guesses that makes sense, now that she thinks about it—but before she can say that, Rose says that he wants to be pet. Rin visibly recoils. ]

Pet...? But, he's a lion! There's all sorts of stories about people trying to keep lions as pets and getting mauled by them...!

[lovelikeyou]

I don't keep him as a pet. He lives out in the desert! But he still likes to be scratched, don't you?

[Rose will give you scratches, Lion.]

[mouflon]

Then that makes it even more dangerous for a human to just pet him, doesn't it? He's... He's a wild animal, not some tame little kitten.

[ ...However it looks right now. ]

Why? He doesn't have any reason to be upset.

[As far as she's concerned, animals mauling people who were keeping them captive is just because they were probably in a terrible cage or something? Lion does as he pleases! Which is, frequently, being scratched!]

[mouflon]

Do you think wild animals only attack people who've done something wrong?

[ Granted, Rin does not understand a lot about the behavior of wild animals, either! Just that in normal circumstances, being this close to a lion would probably be bad? ]

The ones who are friends with people.

[eh, don't keep a lion as a pet and treat it bad or something]

[ How do you even come up with a rebuttal to that?? ]

...I guess it's true that he isn't a normal lion, anyway...
