WEEK 6
Another week, another three lost - and this time all to one murder case. And that's to say nothing of the execution, or whatever went on with that ouija board that still sits in the library... strange things are afoot in the facility, and some of them not even your captor seems fully equipped to explain.
The other of the two doors in the main living area finally opens after another lost Saturday, and what lies beyond is... strange, to say the least. Looks like there's no shortage of changes, even in the architecture. It certainly seems like you should have gotten something like this before the water park at the very least, don't you think?
Angel's still out and about at night, if you want to be found. And who knows what else you might find if you're out alone? Apparently, you might have a ghost on your hands.

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[ooc: Welcome to Week 6! If you want Angel or to try your hand at the ouija, please make sure to note in your toplevel, same as an investigation! AC is over here, regains are here, and, well...
You've all got a new app on your devices! Use it wisely. ]

[He adds in a lower, muttering voice:] Never thought I'd have to worry about keeping something closed.

Wu Kong! [He spins around, brow still furrowed before relaxing slightly upon seeing her. He gestures at the room around them before pointing at Therion.]
Ape?
It's a long story, but...we were separated for a while. Therion here found your Pokeball and brought you back to me.
[Wu Kong listens, and pauses, before putting his hands together and offering Therion a brief bow.]
Prim. [He certainly sounds grateful about it.]

[He can't figure out if Pokémon look too big or too small to him. They're definitely too weird. Mannerisms so close to human--Linde never bows to anyone. She just yawns and tries to get pets.]
Why's it--he--she? [He's also never going to figure out Pokémon sexes. He quickly gives up, shakes his head, and addresses Wu Kong directly.] Why do you have...
[After a pause, he lifts his own arm and gestures to his wrist in illustration. Why do you look like you've got shackles on, bruh?]

[Wu Kong seems pleased to be addressed directly, lifting an arm to make a fist and pump it up and down.]
They appeared when he evolved from a Mankey. It's basically a sign of his increased strength-pretty much all Primeape have them.

[Therion's arm vanishes under his cloak once more. He's not sure what to make of that. His band, after all, is a mark of shame.]
I wouldn't have thought. Though, uh. You do look very strong.
[Staying on the good side of anything that punches harder than you is a policy to live by.]

He is! We used to be sparring partners when he was a Mankey, but after he evolved I couldn't keep up with him barehanded anymore.

That's what you were talking about before. Taking on a different form once you're strong enough. Does that happen to everything in your world?

[She pats Aria on the head.] And not all Pokemon evolve-Aria's one of those, and half my team doesn't, actually. Some of them also need specific items or circumstances to evolve, not just gaining strength.

And more generally, there are some Pokemon who prefer staying in smaller forms, so they can more easily be spoiled by their Trainers, or sometimes because there are techniques they can only learn in their earlier stages. There's even some Trainers who specialize in training Pokemon that aren't fully-evolved.

I don't think I could do it, glowing or not. I've had over twenty years to get used to this body. Don't need it changing drastically on me.

I mean, that's valid. Most people don't go that direction of changing their Type, and not even every Elementalist tries to fully embody their Type for various reasons.
