Another week, another three lost - and this time all to one murder case. And that's to say nothing of the execution, or whatever went on with that ouija board that still sits in the library... strange things are afoot in the facility, and some of them not even your captor seems fully equipped to explain.

The other of the two doors in the main living area finally opens after another lost Saturday, and what lies beyond is... strange, to say the least. Looks like there's no shortage of changes, even in the architecture. It certainly seems like you should have gotten something like this before the water park at the very least, don't you think?

Angel's still out and about at night, if you want to be found. And who knows what else you might find if you're out alone? Apparently, you might have a ghost on your hands.

...Having a bit of a difficult day, Jasper?

You're not getting another warning.

[ Given her (unbelievably limited) interaction with Kirei, she doesn't think he's unaware of the obvious result here, or opposed to it unfolding. She also doesn't know what his intentions are, really.

But that doesn't matter. None of it matters. ]

Leave before I make you.

[Kirei raised an eyebrow at the response, hands folded behind his back as usual.]

Now, that's hardly what I might call an attempt at coexistence. You'll not make many allies in this situation like that.

[Let it never be said any buttons went unpressed when Kirei was around.]

You think I'm looking for allies?

[ And shes immediately whirling on him, using her arm to push off the wall as she turns, taking that momentum and surging forward. For those who are unaware of her spindash shenanigans, this might all seem unnaturally fast, an entirely unprovoked assault that utilizes far too much force considering it's coming from nowhere.

For her, it's the equivalent of swatting a fly. Jasper runs at him with her fists raised, and when she's halfway to closing the physical gap between them, she makes to punch Kirei with her left arm, straight in the solar plexus. Her lunge is telegraphed and easily dodged, or countered. It's an easy out for anyone she might be trying to remove from the the premises. It's easier bait for someone skilled enough to deal with her aggression. ]

[It was about time things got interesting around here.]

[Unexpected as the burst of speed was from someone of Jasper's size, Kirei reacted easily; he didn't outright dodge, but parried instead. His arm struck against Jasper's to redirect the force of her strike and momentum, the other shooting out to counter with a punch aimed to her side.]

[ When Kirei redirects her blow, and she recognizes it as such, her mouth twists in a wild snarl of a grin. Having another punch directed at her doesn't change Jasper's expression — if anything, it widens her smile. There's not much more than a vaguely pained grunt when it hits home, and even as he makes contact, she's winding up the arm he just parried to swing at the arm he parried with, more to grab it than to actually try and hit hi. Her other fist's trajectory is, uh, spiking up directly at the underside of his chin.

It's been five weeks.

Notably, none of what's going on will keep her from continuing to push forward aggressively. Without her full strength, it's not nearly as effective as it should be, but she's still running ahead, fully attempting to use her mass and momentum to push Kirei backward. Is her end goal just to run him into the wall? The wall that's on the other side of the gym? Of course it is, this is Jasper and everything she does is dumb as shit. ]

[It had been a while since he'd been pushed literally or metaphorically like this. Longer still since he'd been the smaller participant in a fight. While Kirei's own speed and power had felt a bit lacking since awakening here...he could still work with this.]

[She moved and fought like a charging bull, not the slightest ounce of finesse or tactics that he could see. Just as well--one didn't need to overpower her.]

[Instead he lashed out with a kick to her knee, aiming to knock legs out from under her and send her on a crash course with wall or floor.]

[ She stands strong with one leg, gets the kick's full impact with the other. In this moment, caught up with the excitement of having a quasi-worthy opponent, she fought as if nothing had changed and she was still borderline immovable, possessed of all her strength. Only just managing to stay upright throws some cold water on that supposition.

But that's just fine. While he upsets her balance and forces her to stop moving, the knee he hits spikes up to kick him back, and she grabs him to steady herself, ensuring she won't fall too far without taking him with her. ]
