WEEK 6

Another week, another three lost - and this time all to one murder case. And that's to say nothing of the execution, or whatever went on with that ouija board that still sits in the library... strange things are afoot in the facility, and some of them not even your captor seems fully equipped to explain.

The other of the two doors in the main living area finally opens after another lost Saturday, and what lies beyond is... strange, to say the least. Looks like there's no shortage of changes, even in the architecture. It certainly seems like you should have gotten something like this before the water park at the very least, don't you think?

Angel's still out and about at night, if you want to be found. And who knows what else you might find if you're out alone? Apparently, you might have a ghost on your hands.

[She almost snaps the line, cutting the loose thread and folding the dress onto the... stack.]

What, did you want to use the machine?

Wouldn't even if I knew how. I can fix holes with a needle and thread, but that's about it.

[Damn, is that whole stack just for her?]

Some things are easier than others. For instance, when we first got this place, I tore up some of those hideous stuffed bears from the machine so I could stuff cushions with them. Those are simple enough any untrained child could do it.

[bolderfell]

Okay. What about a dress like that?

[He nods at the dress now on top of her stack.]

It's supposed to be easy, but there's a trick to it. The pattern's old, so you have to adjust it. Of course, the later reprints tried, but the result was a disaster. You see?

[bolderfell]

...Sure. [No. But he shrugs.] It's something you have to know from experience, like in any trade.

[emberserker]

Precisely. Of course, using patterns is still easier than not, because the other option is to draft something yourself.

[bolderfell]

Right. Improvising's a lot riskier than using something tried and true. But know the basics well enough, and you can do anything on the fly. Right?

[emberserker]

Of course. It's good to have things set up ahead of time, though, just in case. Though I'm sure I don't need to tell you that.
