WEEK 6

Another week, another three lost - and this time all to one murder case. And that's to say nothing of the execution, or whatever went on with that ouija board that still sits in the library... strange things are afoot in the facility, and some of them not even your captor seems fully equipped to explain.

The other of the two doors in the main living area finally opens after another lost Saturday, and what lies beyond is... strange, to say the least. Looks like there's no shortage of changes, even in the architecture. It certainly seems like you should have gotten something like this before the water park at the very least, don't you think?

Angel's still out and about at night, if you want to be found. And who knows what else you might find if you're out alone? Apparently, you might have a ghost on your hands.

[ Oh. Sup, Jasper, three's a crowd--Daisy's here, too! Mira's sort of-- wandering aimlessly, truthfully, though she straightens a little when she sees her. ]

Oh. Evening, Jasper.

[hardnosed]

Is there anyone who's not gonna show up out here?

[ It's not nearly as harsh sounding as it could be, though. If Jasper understood the conditions under which humans sleep, she wouldn't be surprised that people are having trouble tonight. ]

Daisy needed to stretch her legs a bit.

[ It's not completely a lie, but she definitely couldn't sleep... ]

And I guess I haven't been able to sleep, though, either. Have you run into many of the others, then?

[hardnosed]

Therion. Rose.

[ GET A GRIP, JASPER ]

Not that I expected her to sleep. [ Her glance shifts down to Daisy for a second, taking stock of her. Evaluating. Julius has raised some internal questions for her which can be retroactively applied to all pets, so the next words out of her mouth are: ] You just go wherever she leads you?

Ah. I suppose that makes sense...

[ hey jasper can you like, chill ]

Usually, no. I'm the one who leads--she's small enough to get lost easily if she doesn't have some kind of direction. But here, I think we're all contained enough that if she wants to wander, I'll let her.

[hardnosed]

... So she's always been this size, then.

Well, she used to be smaller, but that was when she was a puppy.

[hardnosed]

[ There's like a full three seconds while she tries to process that Daisy used to be another species? And then just transformed into something else?? Like one of Nira's pokemon??? before the obvious conclusion comes to her. ]

... That's a kid. For dogs.
