WEEK 6

Another week, another three lost - and this time all to one murder case. And that's to say nothing of the execution, or whatever went on with that ouija board that still sits in the library... strange things are afoot in the facility, and some of them not even your captor seems fully equipped to explain.

The other of the two doors in the main living area finally opens after another lost Saturday, and what lies beyond is... strange, to say the least. Looks like there's no shortage of changes, even in the architecture. It certainly seems like you should have gotten something like this before the water park at the very least, don't you think?

Angel's still out and about at night, if you want to be found. And who knows what else you might find if you're out alone? Apparently, you might have a ghost on your hands.

There's a chance, in my case. It follows the path I've taken logically enough.

He's at least using the information he's got on us to make it believable. I recognized the place... but it doesn't really matter whether it's true or not. If someone thinks it is, and takes the bait, that's all he needs.

[bolderfell]

[Nod.]

...To be honest, I don't think there's a chance someone won't. I'm... trying, I guess-- [And isn't THAT the damnedest thing.] --but I'm no beacon of hope and good will. Not a very convincing argument against murder when it comes from me.

[hardnosed]

... Yeah, well. You already know my reasons.

[ "Only Rose Quartz is good enough for me to murder, and when I do it has to be a no holds barred fight to the death with us both at the peak of our abilities" is maybe the least relatable motivation not to kill out there, and with this current band of surviving test subjects that's saying something. ]

Good thing they're not the only tools I have. [ ... ] You either.

[ As for what Therion's unexpected reserves of anti-murder skills are ............. that is a great question! Let's maybe return to it later! ]

[Therion isn't historically great at, uh, stopping murder, he's just good at not dying when he's supposed to? Jasper, what are you talking about. He chooses not to ask.]

Right. [Sigh.] One option's finding our way out before the deadline. Guess I should stick to what I'm good at.

[hardnosed]

... You're good at finding things. [ Or getting his hands on stuff that isn't his, same difference. ] If [ when ] it happens — maybe it's time one of us actually went through that room he sticks us in.

[ She will not retain the presence of mind to bring this up at the actual trial! Too bad, so sad. ]

Yeah. Since it's probably not in his interests to send the rest of the group back and leave whoever's looking around behind.

And it's not like he's added a rule against it.
