WEEK 6
Another week, another three lost - and this time all to one murder case. And that's to say nothing of the execution, or whatever went on with that ouija board that still sits in the library... strange things are afoot in the facility, and some of them not even your captor seems fully equipped to explain.
The other of the two doors in the main living area finally opens after another lost Saturday, and what lies beyond is... strange, to say the least. Looks like there's no shortage of changes, even in the architecture. It certainly seems like you should have gotten something like this before the water park at the very least, don't you think?
Angel's still out and about at night, if you want to be found. And who knows what else you might find if you're out alone? Apparently, you might have a ghost on your hands.

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[ooc: Welcome to Week 6! If you want Angel or to try your hand at the ouija, please make sure to note in your toplevel, same as an investigation! AC is over here, regains are here, and, well...
You've all got a new app on your devices! Use it wisely. ]

Wyverns have special glands in their throats, [She taps the side of her own throat as an example.] that are full of venom. When they want to use it they spit and it paralyzes their prey. Their teeth are still important for eating, chewing bones and all that, but not necessary for their venom.

[ But Zerinda says the glands are fine, so probably the glands are fine! That, or he just spits root beer or something now. ]
Did you break him in, or did he just come this way?
no subject
Oh no, I had to train him. He was just a baby when I found him, bigger than this but much too small to ride. So when he got big enough to hold my weight I kept feeding him chunks of chicken, climbing on his back and then feeding him more until he learned. [At the word "chicken" a drop of drool immediately falls from Julius's mouth.]

He's organic. That means he had... parents.
[ this is a question by jasper standards i swear to god ]

[She really hopes by saying that she hasn't further complicated Jasper's entire worldview on parenthood.]
no subject
Wait, you can just do that? What happened to the other ones?
no subject
It's the same thing that happened to me when I was a little girl. My birth parents left me alone, my mother who raised me found me and that's how I got my parents.
no subject
Something like that happened once. [ Literally, once in the history of Gem civilization. ] So humans just take on each other's castoffs sometimes — and raise them until you can function on your own.
[ But what she can't understand is... ]
You got a mount out of it. But what did she get from raising you?
[ They might act like she's respected and well-regarded now, but it's never been anything less than explicit that Jasper's only where she is because she's successful. Yellow Diamond doesn't suffer fools or incompetents. There's a reason all the others are in Blue's court, a charity case to be tucked away quietly, where nobody will ever have to look at them and be reminded of their failure. ]
