[ ...All of that happened, huh. That's the sentiment each and every week, and it's no different this time. Except, this time they've lost more people than before. Five.

The gathering invitation is slipped under everyone's doors, but it specifies something a little different. ]



[ That's a good two hours or so of difference. Enough time to wander around, for sure.

But, in the garden, at the appointed time, there's a variable arrangement of fresh-cooked food. A good amount of beef stew, some Chinese hot pot, and...watermelon? Just, an absurd amount of watermelon, cut up and set on plates. All the food's set on tables that seem to have been moved from the library, and the ground is littered with blankets, for those who don't want to sit on the grass.

And yes, she did not lie. There is, indeed, a variable fuckton of alcohol. (And coffee, for our underaged.)

This has become routine. But, we're still here. We're still alive. ]

These came out of the vending machine. I figured I'd give them back to as a token of my appreciation for today.

In that case, thank me instead. I'm not usually in the business of handing weapons out to other people, you know. Especially not in circumstances like this.

If I really cared enough of this situation to kill someone, I would have done it by now.

Do you think I'd be giving them back if I thought you needed them to kill someone? No matter how much I enjoyed the dressing down you gave Rhea, I'm not stupid.

I would certainly hope you to have a better idea of my capabilities than that, correct.

I suppose it might be useful enough to have, potentially.

But, seriously, nice job today. And not just because it was funny to listen to you tell Rhea off.

I don't know what you mean. I merely defended myself, nothing more.

Pretty sure you're the one who started it with Fugo, actually.

Actually, it's kind of funny when you think about it, isn't it? What are the odds that Rhea would try to frame someone who wound up killing anyway?

I think it no secret that Rhea and I did not get along. It comes as no surprise, then, that she would weaponize my personal preference in flowers against me. It is as I said, anyone would be sensible to look at me first if poison was involved.

Frankly, I don't know which of us she wanted to point to more.

You could say the same for a lot of us, to be honest. She did a good job of making herself unlikable to anyone with a brain between their ears.

But you're right. It seems like the just the right level of petty for her.
