This one, labelled “Subject Alpha,” doesn’t actually include much. Perhaps that’s down to the single paragraph of information: “Subject dead on arrival. Death clearly not due to trauma from the device or the transfer, subject had clearly been dead for at least 24 hours. Burial service performed, tighten parameters for next test." ]

[ This one, labelled “Subject Beta,” includes a picture of some cute anime girl? Or… one on a screen. According to the writeup below, she was capable of manipulation and control of digital spaces, which was something whoever wrote this seems to have been looking for. However, according to an addendum at the end, she was “terminated after causing intense damage to property and resources.” ]

... This is really fucking weird, considering it's a person on a screen, but. Anyway. After snapping a picture just, you know, in case... onto the next! ]

[ This final one, labelled “Subject Gamma,” includes a picture of a young woman who apparently has the power to manipulate the fabric of reality. There’s a very glowing writeup of it below all her vital information, though apparently it wasn’t quite what they were looking for - shame about the handwritten note below that reads “ESCAPED AFTER PARTIAL PROCESSING, SUBDUE IF SEEN AGAIN.” ]

At least someone escaped... but "subdue if seen again," that doesn't bode well. She slips all of the pages into her bag, after snapping photos of them. Is that all that's in this atlas, or are there clues hidden in the pages themselves? ]
