So far, good news! You've managed to avoid killing! A week has passed in the facility, but how many more are there to go until one of you tries out Rule Seven? I mean.... we know, but.

No new areas just yet, it remains you guys and yours here for now. Well, and Angel, but again - you don't exactly see her unless you want to. It's more than a little lonely... maybe someone ought to shake things up.

A stake-out, the most basic move of the private investigator. [She's all for it!] But in that case, we should think of a way to stay out of sight. I'm sure they won't show themselves if they can see us.

[mouflon]

Hm, I wonder about that. If we figure out where they're coming and going from, they can't just never come out if we keep eyes on that door, right? [ Then, under her breath: ] But I guess that's a pretty big "if" in the first place...

[drladysounds]

It'd be easier if we had cameras. I wonder if we can get our hands on some.

[Hmmmmm...perhaaaaaps...yup, she's now thinking about asking Angel]

[mouflon]

Definitely. I doubt it, though — if the Professor planned on giving us recording equipment, it'd come built into our handhelds instead of Snake.

[drladysounds]

You never know unless you ask. Where would humanity be if we refused to take risks when it seemed difficult or senseless?

[They'd be dead, that's where]

[mouflon]

It's not so much taking a risk as wasting your time. But if you want to prove me wrong, feel free.

[drladysounds]

I will! And I'll get something.

[And so she did: an old film camera and a roll of twine. That has to count as a victory of some sort]

Besides, time is what we have a lot of right now...as long as nobody starts getting anxious we have all the time we can want.

[mouflon]

I guess so. I'm just not a fan of the idea of groveling to my jailer for every little thing they wanna hold over my head.

[drladysounds]

There's no need to grovel, Angel doesn't seem like an unreasonable person, for someone working for the Professor. She's better than him, anyway. The Professor would make you kneel down and kiss his shoes.

[mouflon]

That's just the good cop-bad cop routine. If she's working for him, asking her is the same as asking him, and everything she gives us has got to be approved by him anyway.
