So far, good news! You've managed to avoid killing! A week has passed in the facility, but how many more are there to go until one of you tries out Rule Seven? I mean.... we know, but.

No new areas just yet, it remains you guys and yours here for now. Well, and Angel, but again - you don't exactly see her unless you want to. It's more than a little lonely... maybe someone ought to shake things up.

Toys, ugly clothing, used makeup that I'm sure must belong to someone. A few books, too, not that they're helpful.

There's a lot of books in there! I got two copies of that one about parkour.

[One's sitting here, but she held onto the other.]

Maybe someone could make something new out of the clothes?

Maybe, but some of those prints I don't think could be used for anything good. Look at this.

[She holds up that Nicolas Cage skater dress, radiating venom at its existence.]

[Rose snort-giggles.]

Who is that?

Some celebrity, no doubt. I don't pay attention to mundane things as a general rule.

Mundane?

[She kinda gets it, it's not as though she follows human pop culture either, but that's a weird way to put it.]

I've only got one thing I care about, and the normal world isn't it.

So what is it?

[She stops for a second. Her grip tightens on the dress before she throws it down in disgust.]

I had dreams. I had things I wanted. But lately it seems the only thing that matters is the one person who ruined all of that for me. Once I've dealt with that, then I'll surely... I'll surely be happy again.

Will that help you get your dreams back?

Of course it will.

[That's not a very nice look on her face, nor does she really seem to be looking at Rose.]

...of course, now we're stuck in this disaster of a place.

That's true. Maybe you can come up with some ideas about what you'll do when you get back!

I suppose you've got plenty for yourself.

[She steps on the Nic Cage dress for good measure.]

Oh, there's always some new monster to fight.

Your world's got real monsters, then? Not just stories to scare children so they won't be seen using magic?

[lovelikeyou]

Yes. We capture them, so they won't hurt themselves or anyone else.

[emberserker]

[She sighs. It seems most of her energy from before is gone, even as she grinds the dress into the ground with her foot.]

Then you've got something to deal with too, the same as anyone.

The same as anyone.

[yeah. of course.]

It's okay. The other Gems can handle it while I'm gone.

Tch. ...Very well.

[With that, Anna just turns and walks out, leaving the sad Nicolas Cage dress on the floor.]
