So far, good news! You've managed to avoid killing! A week has passed in the facility, but how many more are there to go until one of you tries out Rule Seven? I mean.... we know, but.

No new areas just yet, it remains you guys and yours here for now. Well, and Angel, but again - you don't exactly see her unless you want to. It's more than a little lonely... maybe someone ought to shake things up.

Rose likes songs, so it starts off pretty great in her opinion. And then you've got a princess disguising herself to sneak out of the palace, which, well.]

She should go farther away. She's going to get caught.

Adventures are good when they're close to home, but at times like this you need to leave your fears behind and run far.

[On the other hand, she found love, so what does Shelley know, she thinks]

[Love is nice, but it won't be any good if they just take her and lock you away again.]

I guess they are in the desert...but all those other people must come from somewhere.

They don't have cars, walking under the hot sun to get there must be a nightmare.

[And not everyone has a magic flying carpet, unlike certain people. They're really lucky]

Oh, that's true. Every time I've run into humans in the desert, they weren't doing very well.

[The genie, too. That's an interesting concept.]

You have been in the desert, under the sea...is there a place you haven't been in?

[When the Genie appears Shelley's eyes brighten up a little. Oh, she loves this character]

I've had a long time to explore the Earth. And Gems can live in almost any environment.

Even in the tundra? A volcano? The harsh cold of space?

[Gosh, you're so versatile. And no need of a magic carpet or a wish-granting genie, most likely]

[Rose hums thoughtfully.]

Not every gem can survive in lava. Rubies, Garnets, Bismuths...types like that. [presumably there's some kind of internal logic there that just isn't apparent]

...aren't all of those red and bright like the lava itself?

[Shelley has never seen a piece of bismuth in her life, that much is clear, hah]

Bismuths are more rainbow-colored. On Homeworld, they're supposed to be builders.
