So far, good news! You've managed to avoid killing! A week has passed in the facility, but how many more are there to go until one of you tries out Rule Seven? I mean.... we know, but.

No new areas just yet, it remains you guys and yours here for now. Well, and Angel, but again - you don't exactly see her unless you want to. It's more than a little lonely... maybe someone ought to shake things up.

Thing about a base this elaborate, there's just got be be something more to it.

[ She lets out a little harrumphing noise — but if he isn't going to scold her for it, Rin isn't going to argue. ]

Honestly? You're probably right. I wouldn't be asking if I didn't think there was something... But I really wish we could find a way to open one of those locked doors. There must be some kind of on-site control room for something like this, right?

[Scolding? Does he look like the parent type?]

There's always a way, we're just not seeing it yet. Maybe if we're lucky, a key or something will pop out of the vending machine, or Jasper will get mad and tear a door off.

[ That manages to get a small puff of breath from her, and this time, the sound is amused. ]

Unfortunately, I don't think that'll do it. She tried when we first woke up here, and I think she was angry enough that it would have worked if she could.

Then again, maybe it's for the best if our best chance of getting out of here requires a... more delicate touch.

[ Rin lets out a noise. It maybe sounds a little amused. ]

Maybe. It's just too bad I don't have the tools I need to hack an electronic lock.

You sound like my friend, Bentley. He could hack into anything. Including steel doors, with a few well-placed explosives.

[God he misses his crew.]

Not that I'm advocating that we blow anything up in here... yet.

Personally, I'm not much of an explosives expert myself—but I'll take the compliment. It's probably a good idea for us to have a subtler touch than that, though... We are underwater.

I hear that. No sense in smashing the place before we know we can get out of it. [..] Come to think of it, you'd think we'd have seen a submarine at some point.

Well... Fugo did mention that she was able to spot an elevator shaft out of one of the hallways. It could be that there's a hangar built into the plateau below us, or something like that. That's just a guess, of course, and all we can do is speculate until we find a way to reach it.
