So far, good news! You've managed to avoid killing! A week has passed in the facility, but how many more are there to go until one of you tries out Rule Seven? I mean.... we know, but.

No new areas just yet, it remains you guys and yours here for now. Well, and Angel, but again - you don't exactly see her unless you want to. It's more than a little lonely... maybe someone ought to shake things up.

I'd hope not. That's how you get parasites. [Just ask her Papa Jeager the last time he visited her.] I'll put in a request for as much honey and yeast as I can carry when the kitchen reopens.

If you tell me how it turns out I won't even charge you my usual 3 silver for it. [She winks, mostly joking.]

Not sure how much that'd be in leaves, but you have my word I'm good for it.

We can work out conversions later but I'm holding you to it, handsome. [She turns her attention back to the movie for a moment, tilting her head at the screen as the singing crab went on about how great life is under the ocean.] Something about this feels like it's in poor taste but I can't quite put my finger on it. What do you think?

[bolderfell]

[While she glances away, he quickly pulls his scarf up a little higher. Damn. Tavern keepers don't typically flirt with him. AHEM, ANYWAY, he wasn't watching this movie, he was just walking by, so what's going on, here.]

Hm. Probably the human teeth on a crab. That's unsettling.

[bogwife]

...Oh. Oh no. [She laughs, her hands flying to her mouth to try to muffle the sound.] How did I not notice that? That's terrible. Crabs are bad enough as they are, why would they give this one teeth?

[bolderfell]

Hey. At least it's small. Wouldn't be able to do much damage with those chompers.

[bogwife]

Hm, disagree. Have you ever had your toes attacked by crabs? Those little pincers hurt like bitch. Teeth would be even worse on top of being creepy.

[bolderfell]

...Not my toes specifically. Crabs may be... bigger, where I come from.

[bogwife]

Bigger? [She grabs another chunk of gingerbread and tosses it into her mouth.] Do you mean cat-sized or bigger than that? Oh, that also depends on how big cats are where you're from. Or if you even have cats.

Do you know what a cat is?

[bolderfell]

[Oh man. Zerinda ought to get a trophy for this, because Therion actually chuckles.]

I know what a cat is.

[He holds his arms out wide.]

Think... if a cat were the size of a cart. That's about how big the crabs can get out there.

Oh. Oh wow. I was imagining maybe bog fisher-sized at most. They're, hm...about the size of a pig? But taller, if that makes sense. Sort of hunchbacked. But if your crabs are about cart-sized...are they edible? Because that's so much meat.

[bolderfell]

As I understand, the bigger they are, the less good the meat. But sure. They'll do in a pinch.

[He says it without much inflection and shrugs, but did he just...]

[bogwife]

What a shame. It sounds like such a was- [She stops mid-thought, slowly tilting her head as what he said dawns on her. She grins.] Did you just make a pun?

Don't know what you're talking about.

[bogwife]

Uh-huh. Alright then, I see how it is. Wouldn't want you to get crabby with me over it.

[bolderfell]

I see what you're trying to start here, and I'm willing to let you continue as long as it gets me drinks.
