So far, good news! You've managed to avoid killing! A week has passed in the facility, but how many more are there to go until one of you tries out Rule Seven? I mean.... we know, but.

No new areas just yet, it remains you guys and yours here for now. Well, and Angel, but again - you don't exactly see her unless you want to. It's more than a little lonely... maybe someone ought to shake things up.

It makes no sense. Well, at least the creature's safe now, provided you can take care of it. Even the rules don't pose or incentivize any threat to a dog, after all.

Of course I'll take care of her.

[ She gives Daisy's fluffy head a pat. Though.... ]

Do you... not like dogs?

[emberserker]

What? No, I don't care one way or the other about dogs. But if you were going to worry, it's best you put that aside and know no one's going to do anything. That's all.

[philoxenia]

Ah-- that's true.

[ Daisy is still very curious about Anna, and she's... been watching her intently the whole time. ]

I was only wondering because I think she's interested in you. But she won't come over unless you want her to.

[emberserker]

...very well. As long as she doesn't make a mess of anything.

[Anna gives a judging look, but isn't doing anything to stop her.]

[philoxenia]

She shouldn't, no. She's well-behaved.

[ She gives Daisy a pat on the head, before letting her go. Daisy trots over, then sits right in front of Anna and stares up at her expectantly. ]

[Anna stands there, not responding... okay, fine. After a while, she extends a hand for Daisy to smell.]

Very well, go ahead.

[philoxenia]

Be good, Daisy.

[ Daisy's ears twitch, and she gives Anna's hand a sniff... before nudging her head against her palm. ]

Oh, really now...

[Anna resists petting the dog, but she's also not going to stop her, either, just sigh and roll her eyes a little.]

[philoxenia]

Ah, she likes you.

[ Daisy's entire backside is wagging, and she gives a happy whine as she nudges her head against Anna's palm again. ]

[emberserker]

As she should, but... oh, you must be joking.

[Anna reluctantly pats the dog's head a little, frowning and sighing all the while.]

There. Are you satisfied?

[philoxenia]

[ Apparently so, because Daisy gives her hand one more nudge before she goes back to Mira... who's smiling slightly. ]

Good girl. [ She gives Daisy a pat. ] It's not too hard to make her happy, at least. Ah, though, she might beg you for treats later....

[emberserker]

I haven't got any treats. I got produce out of the machine once, but that's not going to help matters.

[philoxenia]

True enough.... Though "treats" usually means "whatever you're eating for breakfast, lunch, or dinner" for her.

Of course it does.

[this is just her life now.]

Honestly, this entire day is already ridiculous as it is.

[philoxenia]

Well... we are living underwater... I think everything is ridiculous here, as a rule.

[ At least someone is super chill about this! ]

Some of us have better things to do than deal with it.

[Sigh. She turns to walk out, muttering about what her life has come to.]
