FOURTH INVESTIGATION

Friday morning and, well, you all wake up hungry, I'm sure. Even the vending machine isn't dropping food anymore, apart from sticks of butter, and one cannot live on that for very long. Another week has passed on this ship, and despite the fun communal activity of Accidentally Summoning Calypso, Goddess of the Sea last night, there's a tension in the air that cannot be dispelled or explained by the presence of some supernatural entity.

But hey, relax! The hallway outside your rooms is clear, at least! Most of you are around! And look, there's breakfast in the good ol' Jimmy Buffet!

... Wait, breakfast in the buffet? But that would mean...

[ There's some light blood drops here and there on the walls, for one thing. ]

[ Ooh, fun! How high are they, relative to her? ]

[ Scattered? But mostly averaging around human chest height.

There's also a trail of blood from the middle of one alleyway to just short of Albedo's body. ]

[ Time to check that out in closer detail! What does this bad boy look like? Is there continuity that suggests the blood is from Albedo, or any particular wound on him, or has the whole Everything Else about his body made that impossible to determine? ]

[ The uh. The Everything makes it hard to tell, but you have a pretty good sample size to say this is at least the same color and consistency of blood? And there are no signs of someone else dragging the body or anything like that. ]

[ Any signs around where it starts that might indicate what caused it? ... also, actually, is this the same alleyway as the one where Yeager's finding the sword? Because if so that's probably a pretty good indicator. ]

[ No, actually! That's an alley further from the body. ]

[ Hmm. Harkening back to the drops on the walls, where are those relative to the body alley and the hand alley? Are they around the same height as the sword marks Yeager was investigating? And also, how fresh is all of this blood? ]

[ About the same height, and mostly going from the door towards the alleys themselves.

As for freshness... you know your blood, Magica, maybe a couple-few hours? ]
