WEEK 6
Good morning, passengers. Happy Sunday. Happy New Year.
Three more of your number gone - or four, depending on your point of view. But regardless, you're down three bodies. The boat is getting less crowded, week by week. A loneliness only exacerbated by yet another new floor, and yet another section of topdeck. There are almost too many facilities for you to use by now, aren't there? And yet the amenities keep on coming. One of them is even personalized, this time, and perhaps not in a way you're fully comfortable with.
Who knows, maybe if your number falls enough, you'll be able to just exist permanently on the different floors. Might keep you out of the trial room for more than a week.
Are you at the point where you'd settle for that yet?
And if you look to the horizon, out in the distance... there are clouds starting to gather on the horizon this week.

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[ ooc: Welcome to week 6, everyone! Remember to turn in AC here and coins for regains over here! If you wish to get in contact with the npcs, Davy Jones is over here, and The Captain is over here! And as requested, profiles are accessible here. ]

[Though it certainly does make for one. He will absolutely have to remember that the next time he tells ghost stories........]
They sound like quite the fascinating group!
no subject
[Goshdarn, now he's all nostalgic. But at least lately he's been able to think about home without feeling so conflicted. It's improvement to how it was just the week before, at least]
Do you have interesting people in your guild? I mean, there must be a few odd ones in any group. Maybe you even count as one, heh hya ha!
[It may be a sign of how at ease Filbo feels with Yeager that he's poking friendly fun at him, really]
no subject
[And then would you look at that, Filbo teases him!! Look at you go, Filbo, he's legitimately so proud....... Being dragged is what he deserves, ty.]
Oh, I certainly do! I do like to think I have a very memorable personality~!
[he means he's annoying.]
I have already told you about Gauche and Droite— oh, I don't think I've mentioned Zagi. He was a member of my guild, but I recently fired him - out a window - because he stopped checking in with me entirely and also decided to go antagonize one of those meddling kids running around for... some reason...
[.........why was zagi like this?? anyway.]
He was one of the best I had before that, though. Exceptionally skilled with his blades and the sort of person who could take down a horde of monsters single handedly... but he was very volatile and difficult to work with. His strange obsession with that boy Yuri likely started because of whatever incident happened on that boat that led to him losing an arm.
[tales of vesperia is a wild time.]

[Fired him out of a window makes it sound like he loaded him into a catapult and threw him out, he thinks. Wow, he really must have angered Yeager]
I suppose that's what happens with that kinda person -- they just get obsessed and leave everything else aside. Maybe it was...pride? You know, if he lost an arm? I-I know I'd be really cross if someone did something that made me lose an arm.
[But probably not to the point where he'd go hunt that person all over the place, hah]
no subject
I do think that had something to do with it. He always seemed so bored with most fights, and kept demanding more difficult work... so sometimes I sent him on particularly boring assignments.
[.......okay but is it any wonder zagi decided not to give his two week's notice.]
The last I saw of him, he fell off of a massive battleship and into the ocean, but he's recovered from worse so he's probably still around.
[Yeager shrugs at that, it's nbd, clearly.]
no subject
[And for good reason, really. Skillful or not, someone who's causing so much trouble you fire them both literally and metaphorically won't have a place near you anymore]
I'm sure you'll hear about him before long. If he's that much of a handful someday when you least expect it you'll hear rumors of whatever he's doing nowadays.
no subject
[Which is way more likely at this point...]
Either way, it's not really any of my business anymore!
no subject
[Must be if Yeager thinks going after him will get this very skillful fighter Zagi killed. Still, asking such things makes Filbo feel a little weird. Shouldn't he be feeling a little more concerned about the fate of people who are apparently trying to kill each other?
...ah...probably, in concept he should. But looks like this is nothing that has Yeager concerned, so it possibly is commonplace in Terca Lumireis, for all Filbo knows. Wow, it really is starting to seem like Yeager's world is a hostile one too, just like Constantine's]
no subject
[Yep. Terca Lumireis is made up of fighty bastards who enjoy throwing down all the time. You can't even blame the monsters for this, we're almost all just Like This.]
But with that said, he is the sort who only kills those who are truly awful - and the three he did kill were some of the worst.
no subject
[Between the monsters, the really horrible people who apparently were doing whatever they wanted until these vigilantes came by and dealt with them, and the loss of limbs and what not, Terca Lumireis has turned out to be reaaaaally dangerous, hah. Amazing]
Yeager, your world really sounds like it's not great if you want to have a long lifespan. It's not like I was planning to go because I had already heard enough warnings last time, but this just confirms staying away is for the best.
no subject
[Most people sound like they come from relatively stable worlds, even if they aren't peaceful. Terca Lumireis is on the brink of disaster the day we dig up the last blastia, if not before then. Barriers can fail, blastia can run out of control, and without them, we're totally screwed.
Also there may or may not be some jrpg final boss bullshit on the horizon that happened like twenty minutes after Yeager was yanked here, but don't worry about that.]
no subject
[Oh well. Filbo decides to take a good look at the far end of his course, wondering if this was so detailed they had also recreated his sashes hanging from the clothesline behind his cabin, and finally steps on his course. Doesn't take more than three steps for him to notice something's up]
...ah. I guess I should have expected this.
[He sees the small holes he left while passing by. Probably would get patched by the time someone else came to give a try to the course, but right now a few loose google eyes sure got stuck to him dragged out along with the fake grass and spread where he was walking. At least Filbo's taking it with the kind of attitude that just says 'it's Jack of course it wasn't going to be a nice thing he made to bring nostalgia']
no subject
That's... a little odd. [that's an understatement!!] I'm guessing this is a reference to the bugsnax?
no subject
[Filbo sighs]
I just wish Jack would leave me alone about them already. It kinda feels like that's all he has to use against me, and that's just getting old at this point. I get it was not a great time? But I'm starting to feel like that's his way of trying to...I dunno, break me?
[And he'd have succeeded with them if it hadn't been for a few really fortunate things that have happened throughout this game, let me tell you that. Oh the things I could have done and for one reason or another they were all avoided, haha]
no subject
I suspect that's the point, ja. He does seem to think he knows a lot about us and what exactly will get us to break. Each time we don't is a victory, I'd say!
no subject
I'll take what I can get when it's about a victory over him!
[Filbo gets off the course, sweeping the googly eyes away]
I wonder if maybe he was the one who went around placing these eyes on the buffet food a week and half ago. He'd do that sorta thing.
[He never suspected Magica was the one to do it, hah!]
no subject
[There it goes, sailing right over our heads... Magica is free of suspicion.......]
Well, he'll likely get bored of it eventually and knock it off, so at least there's that!
no subject
[Things to be saying one day before the motive, way to go, Filbo, you may be jinxing it so hard]
no subject
[just watch, this conversation's going to be real funny tomorrow. good job, boys!!!]
